Good morning everybody! I just woke up and today is my birthday, so I'm going to show you my perfect day. I'm going to do some of my favorite activities, eat some of my favorite foods, and just spend the day enjoying myself. To kick things off, I'm going to hit the gym. I've been working with a personal trainer lately and I love starting the day by being active and moving my body. No excuses today. I just hope it's not leg day. Let's get going. I just got to the gym and I'm waiting for my trainer, so I'm going to warm up my body and do a bit of stretching. This is my trainer. She's so ripped, and as the young kids these days would say, her body is tea. Can you flex? Show the muscle. Whoa! Today we are focusing on my back. Not leg day, so I guess it really is my perfect day today. Let's go! Let's go! I just finished up at the gym and wah, she kicked my butt today. She does not go easy on me, which is good because sometimes I need that extra push. But now I'm heading home to take a shower and clean up a bit. Before I hop in the shower, I'm gonna make a quick smoothie. I love smoothies after workouts because they are fast and easy and packed with nutrients. Spinach. Eh, let's finish up the rest of the bag. Frozen blueberries, 1 banana, 1 scoop of pea protein, and some almond milk. Let's blend this up. Voilà! The perfect post-gym meal. Thick and creamy, just how I like it. It doesn't look great, but I promise it's really delicious. I have an appointment today, so I'm in a bit of a rush. I have to do this quickly. No time to spare. It's time to pick out an outfit. Since it's my perfect day, I want to look and feel my best. I think I'm going to wear this robe today. It's bright and fun and comfortable, so it's one of my favorite things that I own. Whenever I wear this, I get compliments on it. Which is kind of ironic because I actually bought this about 5 years ago for 만원 at a subway station in Seoul. It was a great deal. It's very summery, so I have to wear it one last time before it gets too cold. I'm on my way to a nail appointment now. I was running late, so I had to call a cab. I'm really excited because I never get my nails done, So this is a real treat. Annyeonghaseyo! I want something kind of like this? Okay. How long you've been here? In Busan, just for like 1 month. But I lived in Seoul before for like 10 years. My cuticles are in really rough shape, so she's cleaning them up. You know what sounds really good right now? Some coffee. Sounds really good. Hint hint. In my family, when it's your birthday, we call you the birthday brat. That means you can boss people around and do whatever you want for one day only. I'm taking full advantage of that title. So cameraman, will you go get me a coffee, please? Thank you. I went for something a bit more neutral this time because I have some business meetings and events coming up, so I can't have anything too flashy. But still, it's a little bit shimmery. I love it. I'll be back for sure. Thank you so much. Thank you. See you next time. Tempting. I want to buy it, but then it shows you how many calories there are. I think my trainer would not be too happy after working out so hard this morning and then getting Krispy Kreme donuts. I'll save my appetite for the food court. Oh, Bath and Body— we passed by Bath and Body Works and I had to take a peek. At their candles. They're on sale. 30% off. I sniffed all the candles and I'm very indecisive, but I think I narrowed it down to my two favorite scents. I like the pistachio milk and honey and the cinnamon spiced vanilla. I'm gonna go to the actual store and see if they have those smaller candles in stock. They have a lot more options here. Where's the— Thank you so much. Okay, thank you. I'm surprised because everyone in Busan is so good at English. Everyone's fluent here. Okay, I'm going with my instincts here. This one's coming home with me. Do you have your card? Thank you. Thank you. Gamsahamnida. People are going to smell me from a mile away. Wow. We can't go in an elevator. Let me walk quickly to try and get rid of some of this. Yum. Wow. 8,000 won for one rice cake. That's crazy. Dubai chocolate hype, I guess. We're hitting up the food court. Start because I'm a bit hungry. Everything looks so good. It's gonna be so hard to decide what to get. I want one of everything. I need some more hands. Vegetables. Nice cake. Okay, sweet potato. Sweet potato. I planned on eating light here. I only wanted a snack, and now I'm juggling all this food. I'm being a big back today. Big back is slang these days for having a big appetite or being overweight. It's very common to say in a joking way, this is big back behavior. I'm such a big back. I heard that fish cake is very popular in Busan, and this is my first time trying it. It's so good. And it's actually not very fishy at all. I wouldn't know it's fish cake. Let's try the rice cake one. I like the texture of this one. It's a little bit crisp on the outside. The worker recommended this one. She did good. And perilla leaf. All of them are so nice. I think I like the sausage the most though. I'm topping the dumplings with some soy sauce. Wow, these are nice and golden brown on the bottom. Mmm, the outside is so soft and pillowy, but it's really juicy inside. I love this. Mmm, I'm so full. Everything was really delicious. Mall food in America just can't compare. It's mostly fast food, but here everything is gourmet. It's amazing. Now I'm heading to the Apple Store to hopefully buy some headphones because my headphones right now are hanging on by a thread. They're literally falling apart because I use them so much. I cannot hear you. Comfort-wise, maybe Beats is better. It's hard to get the right fit. Everything slides off my head. I wear these at the gym, so it's important to test this out. I'm not quite sold yet. I like my Beats. I'm still thinking about the headphones. But now I'm on the hunt for a new purse because this is embarrassing. I don't want to show you, but my purse broke a while back and I put tape on it as a quick fix. And it's been like that ever since. What are you, cheapskate? Hey, I'm frugal, okay? That's kind of cute. I like a good shoulder bag. Is that too much? I think too much. These are cute too. Mini purse. I carry around too much stuff to have a small purse like that. Ah, gamsahamnida. It's almost identical to the one I have now. Maybe I'm a creature of habit. Wow, I struck out shopping today. I didn't get either of the things that I really wanted to buy. To be honest, shopping kind of stresses me out because I'm an overthinker. So I always go back and forth comparing different things and it takes forever. But that's okay. I still got a candle and maybe I'll try to do some online shopping to get the things that I need. Hello! Can we do a half and half of the Brooklyn's Best and the spinach? Alfredo. How many pieces is that? Uh, 6 piece. Okay, perfect. And can we do one ginger ale and one Coke Zero? Thank you. Thank you. I haven't dined in at a pizza place in forever. I usually just do delivery, but when I was a kid, it was pretty common to have a pizza party on your birthday, so this feels pretty nostalgic and fun. Also, I heard that Gino's serves excellent American-style pizza, so I wanted to see for myself. Can we get a small thing of ranch? Extra charge, ₩800. That's okay. Smells good. I'm a Midwestern girl, so ranch is my holy grail. We put it on everything— pizza, salads, fries, you name it. Ranch belongs on it. Whoa, look at that cheese pull. Looks pretty legit. These shakers even remind me of pizza parlors back home. Mm, that is some good pizza. Let me try it with the ranch. Mm, that is some good ranch. Manimura. I can see myself becoming a regular here. I've got a little bit of a stomachache. I feel kind of nauseous, and we're getting on a boat. Not a good combination. I can't think of a better way to end my perfect day. My stomachache is suddenly gone. This is gorgeous. I love being on the water, and this view, you can't beat it. We're going right under the bridge. I didn't look at the price tag first and I'm shook. ₩7,000 Korean won for this baby ice cream. That's insane. My favorite cake flavor is Funfetti, but it's really hard to find in Korea. So tonight I got carrot cake, which was actually the flavor of my wedding cake. Now it's time to light the candle and make a wish. Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Callie Anderson, happy birthday to you. Woo! Thank you, thank you. Time to make my wish. What's your wish? I can't tell or else it won't come true. Yay! Baksu, baksu! I bought this super expensive tiny ice cream to put on top and make it à la mode. We say à la mode when you're having dessert topped with ice cream. Apple pie à la mode, brownie à la mode, carrot cake à la mode. Everything is better à la mode. There we go. Mmm. I feel like I constantly ate today. I was a bottomless pit. This is really good though. Carrot cake was a good choice. Mmm. Thank you guys so much for spending my birthday with me today. I'm so grateful for each and every one of you, and I hope this year I can meet more of you in person, and I hope that our community continues to grow. You're not supposed to say your wish. You're right. Cut that part. Cut, cut. Check out the pinned comment below and I'll see you next time. Goodbye.
