Callie Anderson spends a weekend in Seoul, riding the KTX train to Hongdae and checking into a hotel. She watches the Korean film Ya-dang, leads a boot camp orientation, tries chimney cake and matcha cloud drink at Kavarna Praha, and discovers jajangmyeon at a Chinese restaurant she found on Instagram.
Spend a weekend with me in Seoul. After taking the KTX and checking into my hotel in Hongdae, I was pretty exhausted, so I just had a chill night in. I watched the movie "Ya-dang," which was so good. The next morning, I had an orientation session for a boot camp that I'm running. Then I popped over to Kavarna Praha for a meeting. My go-to is their chimney cake, but I also tried this matcha cloud drink, which was chef's kiss. Then I went on a mini shopping spree with my friend before grabbing a bite to eat together. I found this Chinese restaurant on Instagram and it did not disappoint. Do not sleep on their jajangmyeon. It's amazing.
