비싼 수업 안들어도 원어민처럼 영어 할 수 있어요! 미국인이 밥먹듯이 쓰는 생활영어표현 | 반복해서 들으면 영어가 입에서 자연스레 나와요(부산 이사 브이로그)

Callie Anderson and co-hosts move from Seoul to Busan while teaching everyday English used during a move: packing, labeling boxes, hiring movers, the five-hour drive, unpacking, and assembling furniture. They show practical vocabulary like "box cutter" and "load up," plus Korean moving traditions like celebrating with jajangmyeon and tangsuyuk.

Today is moving day. We're moving from Seoul to Busan, so I'm going to teach you some English expressions used while moving, starting from packing and preparing all the way to enjoying jjajangmyeon in our new place.
We spent the week sorting through our things and packing all our belongings into boxes. We used bubble wrap to protect anything fragile and labeled each box so we'd know exactly where everything should go later. We emptied out our storage unit and since we're trying to live a more minimalist lifestyle, we got rid of as much as we could by selling things on Danggeun . We hired a moving company so on moving day, the mover helped us carry our boxes and clear out the apartment. We did one last walkthrough and said our final goodbye. Bye Seoul! He loaded everything into the back of the truck and strapped it down to keep it secure during the ride.
We can take this path wherever it goes as long as you're with us.
We're in the moving truck now on our way to Busan. It's about a 5-hour drive.
It's quite a long trip from Seoul to Busan, so we're taking a taking a quick break and grabbing a bite to eat at the rest stop. After eating, we'll probably go to the gas station and fill up our tank before getting back on the road. You can never go wrong with dumplings. They're very plump and juicy. Rest stop food in Korea never lets me down.
The driver gave us some ice cold waters.
So necessary today.
Can you tell me why? Cause I wanna know. As long as you're with me.
Welcome to our new home. We just finished unloading the truck and wow, it's so messy now. We've got our work cut out for us tonight. This apartment is a bit small, but it's cozy. It's time to start unpacking. I hate this part. Our last apartment was fully furnished, so we didn't have any of our own furniture, but this place was completely empty. It was unfurnished, so we had to buy a few necessities like this mattress. We need somewhere to sleep tonight. Let's do some unboxing. When moving, you always need a box cutter. These things come in handy. I'm tipping the box over Let's use these muscles. Okay, I got this. I feel like it's going to explode like the tent at the Han.
Done!
Let's test it out. Wow, it looks a little bit sad right now. We don't have a bed frame yet. And it's quite thin because it was vacuum sealed, so it's still expanding, but it's not bad. It's pretty comfortable. I'm unpacking boxes and getting organized. For such a small apartment, there's surprisingly a lot of storage, so I'm figuring out where to put everything. I put our snacks and some food in these cupboards. We have a lot of seaweed. Every time I move, it takes me about a week before I finally decide where things go. I'm constantly moving things around and changing where they go.
We also ordered some furniture online, so I measured the space using a measuring tape to make sure everything would fit, and we assembled everything ourselves.
It's time for Korea's moving tradition: having well-deserved jajangmyeon and tangsuyuk. I ordered through Coupang Eats. I'm so happy to know that it's just as fast here in Busan. I'll try the tangsuyuk first. Do you pour the sauce onto the tangsuyuk or do you dip the tangsuyuk? Personally, I'm a dipper.
Ding mok.
Not bad. It especially hits the spot after a long day of moving. I pour the sauce on it. What? Did I do this wrong? Oh, because that one's bigger. Okay, okay, okay. There we go. We fixed it. I let it sit out for a little bit, so the noodles are a little bit soggy, but it's okay. I love this tradition. To be honest, I don't think I eat jajangmyeon on any other day except for moving day. And I don't know why because I love it. But I guess maybe it makes it extra special. I only eat it on a special occasion. My favorite spot in the new apartment is definitely the kitchen. It's the best room here. It's much larger than my old kitchen and has a lot more counter space and cupboards for storage. I'm obsessed. I'll try to do even more cooking lives or cooking videos for you guys. It's been a long and exhausting day, so I'm going to finish eating my dinner and watch a show and call it a night. If you have any other moving vocabulary or expressions that you're curious about, leave them in the comments below and I'll make sure to answer your questions. I'm being resourceful. I don't have a kitchen table yet, so I'm using a moving box as my table for now.
