안녕하세요. I'm taking out the trash. I'm having a pretty good hair day today. Come on in, make yourself at home. Let me top you off. Wow. It's the Busan Fireworks Festival this weekend, so I'm having a little get-together at my house. I came to Trader's to grab some drinks and snacks, so let's head in. Wow, this is a huge cart. Do you think we can fill it? I think we can. We're being fancy and getting champagne. Woo! Let's pop some bottles. Let's go to the produce section to buy some fruits. Grapes are the perfect finger food. Ooh, they have all kinds of different grapes. Which one should we buy? These look pretty good actually. These are so expensive, like ₩16,000 for this tiny package of strawberries. Dang, it's much cheaper in the US. To be fair, Korean strawberries are much more delicious, but you pay the price for them. I'm hitting up the freezer aisle. Oh, They have the fried chicken ice cream. Remember when I ate this at the beach? It's really delicious, but I'll resist the temptation. Oh, melona! Okay, let's get away from the ice cream. Danger zone. We're putting our other grapes back and getting this huge box of Shine Muscat. They look really good. I don't know, I'm kind of scared skeptical. Like, why is it so cheap? This costs the same as one pack of those strawberries. We're getting this. We'll send any extras with your family. Annyeonghaseyo. Really good. You can't pass by the free samples and not grab one. It's a rule. Let's see if they have some fancy cheeses. In the deli. Something like these, maybe, with crackers. Salami, cheese, and crackers. It's a classic combo. Can't go wrong with that. I think everybody likes dakgangjeong, and it says you can heat it in the air fryer and it's even more delicious. So we got to get this. 2, 4, 6, 18. That's more than enough, I think. Good thing I skipped lunch today. I bet you this is filled with air. Can I check? This is good. I'm waiting in line for checkout. I think we did good today. We didn't go overboard. It's the day of the party, and I think everyone's gonna show up in a few hours. I deep cleaned yesterday, but I still need to pick up the house a little bit before all the guests arrive. I'm gonna start by putting the dishes away. I'm putting the bowls in the cupboard. I'm spraying and wiping down the counters. I'm taking out the trash. It's so full. I'll do the recycling as well. Finally, I'm gonna vacuum. I wanna look cute for the party tonight since it's such a special occasion, so I'm curling my hair with my straightener. Because that's how I do it. I think I'm ready. Thankfully, I'm having a pretty good hair day today. Now it's time to set out the food. I usually like to cook everything myself and prepare a big spread, but unfortunately, I was too busy to do that this time, so I ordered some food and grabbed some simple appetizers and finger food from the grocery store. We're keeping it very casual this time. I'm just pouring some nuts and chips in bowls. Mm, I had to check it and make sure it's good. Quality assurance test. Mm, okay. Cheese plates are my go-to when it comes to party food. If you want to be fancy, you can call it a charcuterie board. One more for quality assurance again. Mm, okay, we can serve this. I think it turned out pretty good. Olives, crackers, dessert plate. Mmm. Pro tip: buy packaged food and put it on a plate. That way it looks like you made it. Tip: never throw away your boxes because you can use them again for leftover food after the party. I've made that mistake many times. The last thing I have to do is heat up the chicken. I will just use air fryer for that, so it's not a hassle. I'm setting up the drink table now. I decided to be super fancy and get plastic cups. At least we got plastic champagne glasses. That's a step up. Good. Easy peasy. I'm lighting a candle. To set the mood. Oh, I think my first guest is here. Dahye! Hi! Oh my god, hi guys! Dahye came all the way from Seoul for the festival. Yes, oh my god, good to see you! Good to see you, thank you so much for coming! Oh my god, thanks for having me, seriously! Of course! Come on in, make yourself at home. Oh wow! I hope you came hungry. I'm starved. Perfect. Of course. Time for DJ Callie. What kind of music does your dad like? He plays the saxophone, so I think he'll like jazz music. Let's do that. Mm, mm. That's it, that's it. Okay, I'm done. That's all you get to see. Annyeonghaseyo! Hi! Hi! Hi, long time no see! Kamsahamnida! Wow, you didn't have to bring all this. I didn't want to come here empty-handed. Ah, thank you so much. It's time for bubbly. Yes! Oh, thank you! It's a pork belly. Compliments to the chef. Thank you, whoever you are. Wow, I've never done this before. This takes skill. Impossible. Yes, you're going to be the DD. Designated driver, so he cannot drink alcohol tonight. He has to drive home. Didi. Hyunhee, let me top you off. Thank you. You're welcome. Can I get you anything else? Do you want another drink? Yes. Okay, let's share one more. Okay. How about a session? Oh yeah. You gave me a lot though. I don't think so. Are we even? We're even. Really? Good job. Cheers. Wow. Seems like they have good crowd control. This is very organized. Oh, it's starting now. It's just starting. 3, 2, 1, fire! Oh my God! Wow! Anyone want some champagne? Please top it up. VIP service here. VIP service. Why do I feel like we're friends now? Like, I want to invite them up. And let's go walk them out. Get home safe. That's a wrap. On our home party. Family just left. The house is actually pretty clean thanks to my mother-in-law. We made so many good memories tonight. Thank you so much for watching and I will see you next time. Bye.
