My wife and I actually publish our bucket lists on her website, Ever Wonder Travel? We share them with anybody. If you want a copy of it, just DM me and ask for a copy of our bucket list. We're constantly traveling and trying to cross things off the bucket list. And these can even be things that you do in your home city. They can be done on staycations. They don't need to involve a lot of money, but you need to actually get back engaged with your hobbies and also bake time into your calendar to be having some fun at doing things as well. CEOs definitely face burnout. Not necessarily as much as CEOs because they don't have as much on the line, right? The CEO, all that additional stress of probably signing personally and maybe mortgaging their house to keep the company running. Sometimes the CEOs are paying everyone else on the leadership team more than they're taking out of the company because they're in that growth stage of the business. But burnout is a real thing. Here's the thing, as a second in command, you need to recognize you'll never get it all done. You will never get everything on your to do list completed. So you need to work on controlling the amount of time that you spend working on the business and allowing yourself to have a life outside of business. So my recommendation is you get a maximum of 40 or 50 hours per week max to actually get it all done. And then your job is to delegate everything except genius. As the CEO, your job is to grow people. So the way that you get your stuff done is delegating it to people and then dropping down a layer to give them the skills and them the confidence to work on those projects so. So that you can go back up, get more strategic, figure out the plans and delegate more to them. Again, your job is to keep delegating to your teams and keep growing their skills and confidence. It's one of the reasons why everyone is going through the invest in your leaders course is it gives them the skill sets and the processes to be able to get more done so that they can delegate more in their roles as well. So your job is to make sure that you're doing all that stuff and that will help you avoid burnout. Couple other things that help you avoid burnout as well. No more working nights, no more working weekends. Allow yourself one night per month to actually work at home and get caught up and allow yourself one weekend day per month, no more to actually be catching up. And I really prefer that. That's a maximum of a couple of hours on a weekend because there's really no need to do it. If you're delegating more and growing your people. Next thing you need to do is find a life, right?
