It's really hard to build culture when people are working remote. It's really hard to actually get to know people unless we can slow it down, connect and talk a little bit, maybe try to do some random zoom calls once in a while that I would rather do over slack. But the fact that I can do it over zoom builds a connection. So sometimes it's about being mindful and trying to get people to connect with each other. And then there's that saying that the off site is the new on site. We used to take people out of the office to go somewhere off site to get work done and hang out together. Now it's about bringing people from wherever they live together so that we can actually get together and do work together and hang out together.
