Most entrepreneurs are not really that capable at teaching everyone in the company all the skills that they're learning. So the core thing that you can do to grow your company is to grow your people. Focus on growing their skills and growing their confidence. So here's the number one thing that every CEO can do to have them massively grow their company. And it's probably not what they've been doing at this point at all. Most CEOs get themselves into Mastermind groups or coaching programs, which is great. Maybe you're in YPO or EO or Vistage. Maybe you're involved in the Genius network or scalable or Mastermind talks. There's so many great organizations for CEOs, but the real growth is not going to be from you growing yourself. The real growth is going to be from you growing the people that work for you. It's really going to come from you actually growing your leadership team skills and capabilities, and then all of the managers who work for you inside of your company as well. The more that you grow the people, the more they're going to grow the company. And it's really about growing their capacity and their skill set as leaders as well as growing their confidence as leaders as well. When you think about the 12 core modules in my Invest in youn Leaders course, things like situational leadership coaching, delegation, time management, problem solving, handling conflict, running meetings, interviewing the 12 core skills that every leader needs to be strong in. If you develop their capacity at all of those 12 skills, they're going to grow the company for you. But to simply network yourself and grow your own skills, you're really missing the point. Most entrepreneurs are not really that capable at teaching everyone in the company all the skills that they're learning. So the core thing that you can do to grow your company is to grow your people. Focus on growing their skills and growing their confidence. Get them engaged in courses, get them mentors, enroll them in programs like the OP spot. If they're in operations roles like Director of Marketing, get them involved in the Coho Alliance. If they're the second in command to you, get them engaged in the Invest in your leaders course. Whatever you do, focus on growing the skill set, the capacity and the confidence of your employees, and they'll actually scale the company for you.
