For me, the biggest value in the Genius network, outside of meeting everybody, was that all the geniuses in the room, you didn't have to bring outside speakers in. And I didn't know that. For the first year, when I was coming to events, I always thought these speakers were from outside. But then I realized that the next event, they were just sitting in a chair, and the next event, they're sitting in a chair. I'm like, oh, you're literally showcasing all of the strengths of all of these people. Which I think is why the network is so strong, is we get to know the relative strengths of everybody else in the room and who we can call on and who we can like and trust.
And I bring topics in and different people with different. Including politically. You know, people say you should never talk about religion or abortion or politics or whatever. We talk about everything in Genius not to offend someone, to give perspective. You don't ever change anyone's mind by arguing with them. You actually learn where they're coming from. People are like, I've never been to a conference that's bringing this type of subjects and topics.
