If you're the smartest person in the room, you're in the wrong room. I heard that saying years ago when I was a member of something called Strategic Coach. Since then, I've been a member of Strategic Coach for seven years. I joined the Genius Network for seven years. I've invested a lot of time and money and energy in my own personal growth. So by investing time in myself and time in my own growth, I actually continue to excel in my career and in my life. But I also realize that when I go to these events, I'm not the smartest person in the room. I really do check my ego. I show up vulnerable, wanting to learn, wanting to connect.
