Why Your Interview Style Is Killing Great Candidates

Number two, show up as a human, let go of this stupid game face in the private office and like, sitting across the table from somebody, you're not going to learn anything from someone if you don't connect with them as a human. Connect with them, like, sit down with somebody and laugh and joke and chat and talk, and that will actually get them to open up to you and talk to you a little bit. So when you humanize the interview process, you're going to learn a lot more. Number three is make sure that you do the questions and let them do the talking. The interviewer should speak about 10% of the time. The interview candidate should speak 90% of the time, and don't let them flip the table on you and start asking questions too early.
