100 Sales A Day in 90 Days Is EASY When You Do This...

Ryan Daniel Moran coaches Dr. Ben on scaling his Amazon product from 15 sales to 100 a day in 90 days. The strategy: stop looking for new channels and focus entirely on Amazon, drive 100 reviews, document progress on social media, and do podcast interviews with patients to build momentum.

People used to ask me, hey, I'm doing 100 sales a day, should I open up on Amazon EU because I think that I could add another 20 sales a day. I was like, you could do that or you could launch a second product in your existing brand and get to 200 sales a day. Both of those are effective decisions. Which one has the biggest upside that builds the overall brand and value of the business? Is it opening up another channel or is it doubling down on what's currently working right now? And. And the answer is usually doubling down on what's working until we have a really nice multimillion dollar business. Have you ever wished somebody would just tell you what do in your business? Of course you. And that's what I do in our coaching calls inside of the 1%. And on this coaching call, one of our members, we call him Dr. Ben, did exactly what I told him to do, and now he's making some sales. Dr. Ben is a product that he has been selling in his clinics and people love it. And he's been resistant to selling it online. In fact, the last time I chatted with him, he was ready to give somebody like $20,000 just to build him a website. And I said, please do not do that. 80% of my job sometimes is just telling people what not to do so that they can do the things that they know that they should do. That's what I tell Dr. Ben to do. In this coaching call, he does the work, he gets some results, and then in this call, he comes back for his next batch of assignments. So if you're at the beginning of your journey and you're looking for your marching orders, this coaching call will give you a really good taste of what type of advice I would give you. Just go do this and make some sales. Whenever you're ready to get personalized advice like I give Dr. Bennett in this one. Come hang out with us in the community at capitalism.com/one. Let's go hang out with Dr. Ben.
Okay, Ben, I gave you some pretty clear marching orders last time with Chad. Give me the latest.
All right. It's on Amazon. Yes, it's on Amazon, ladies and gentlemen.
On Amazon. He's not just taking sales inside of his practice.
Yep.
Man. So what just happened?
It's been there for a week and a half. 15 sales and one review.
Huh.
How many sales did you say? 15, 15 sales in a week.
Not a bad start in one review. But I'm doing the grinding work where I'm getting out and I'm talking to Each person specifically to buy and libra you. So we're in that process. So that is done. Now we got to go to the next.
Now. What, what, what were your sales before you were on Amazon? I know that was just people coming into the, the practice and buying. What were they buying every day? Like what, what was. It was. What was the momentum?
I would pro. I mean, in the clinic, because I was selling online on my website, so. And, but that was becoming very, very, very rare. I was just getting one. A couple, every couple here and there. A couple of weeks online. Yeah. And then in the clinic. Yeah. Was I? Probably so between three to six a day. I guess it depends because I'm seeing less people. When I was working the clinic, that was a lot more, a lot more high volume. I was, I was getting up to 16 a day.
Okay. So I just want to point out that a week and a half into Amazon, you're pacing 30 to 50% what you were doing in your best performing channel, which was in person. Yeah, because now that's good.
Because now before it was one to one. Now I can see one, two, millions.
Yes, yes. So if you do 15 your first week with one review and you continue to send people there to buy and you get that up to 25 reviews and then 50 reviews, you can see how this goes back to 20 a day. 25 a day. Now we can build a real business around this product line.
That's what I'm trying. I mean, my, my goal is. Well, I was talking to somebody like, that's really ambitious, but 100 views in the first 90 days. But he said, that's really, that's too ambitious. But I'm going to still work for it and see what I can do.
I think you can do that. I mean, especially if you've got people coming into the clinic who have bought it in the past and you're like, hey, would you do me a favor and buy this on Amazon? Like here, I will give this to you for free if you pull out your phone and buy another one on Amazon. Just leave me a review when you do. Right. And if, and, and if you're doing that with three people a day, then in 90 days you have 270 reviews. So. So you actually only need one person a day over 90 days to be within striking distance of the 100.
Yeah.
Plus you document the journey, you post about it on social, you announce it in the 1%. And 100. 100 reviews in 90 days, you go for it. You can do it.
All right, that's that's what I'm, that's what I'm looking to forward to. That's. My next goal is 100 reviews on Amazon.
Good. And did you, did you hire that agency from your family?
No, I didn't know. And good, you know, but what do you think about turnkey? What do you think about then?
I think turnkey is wonderful and I think you're too early for them.
Perfect.
Oh, go get your hundred reviews.
Good.
And go get to 25 or 50 sales a day. Then we talk about bringing on an agency that can help you maximize. You're too, you're too early for, you're too early to outsource this stuff right now because we can, we can get what is, is your product 20. Am I remembering that right?
It's 30. But I'm thinking about going up. I think I'm, I'm going to turn, I'm going to raise the price.
Good, great. So, so it's 30 right now. If we're, when we're doing 25 of them a day, you're doing a, about 800 to a thousand bucks a day. Now we can talk about, okay, do we bring on an agency to help us grow? I'm still probably going to tell you now we need to launch a second product because like, it's kind of like people used to ask me.
Hey, I'm doing 100 sales a day, should I open up on Amazon EU and I should I go, should I open up and go over to Amazon Europe? Because I think that I could add another 20 sales a day. I was like, you could do that or you could launch a second product in your existing brand and get to 200 sales a day. Both of those are effective decisions. Which one has the biggest upside that builds the overall brand and value of the business? Is it opening up another channel or is it doubling down on what's currently working right now? And, and the answer is usually doubling down on what's working until we have a really nice multimillion dollar business. So until you've got a couple products that are selling consistently, I just think that the next step in front of you is to grow the online presence and to launch a couple products and then we talk about automating it with some agencies who are wonderful but will do better work for you once there's more momentum behind your.
Perfect. Thanks. Appreciate that.
What else you got, Ben?
I'll just keep on grinding then. Just keep on looking for people to get those reviews out there and I'll keep on getting them. I Mean, I'm. My online presence is very small still. I mean, because I've been focused so much just on this. I haven't. I haven't put out a podcast for like five months.
Okay.
So I'm. I imagine I need to start doing that again. Also try to get this hopper to grow my. And I'm not. I'm not very active in my fate, my private Facebook group. I mean, I know these are things I need to do. I mean, what.
So you. So I would, I would like. So let me make this real easy on you, Ben. You don't need to do any of that shit.
Okay?
You can and it will work, but the end of the world is not going to come if you don't launch a podcast.
So sometimes.
Bringing things down to, like, what is the very easy and obvious step that's right in front of me versus building this whole conglomerate is very freeing for the brain. So for you, in. If you are trying to make online content and launch a podcast and build an email list and get your Amazon prices up, it's just your brain's going to fry and you're not going to do anything. So if we can narrow this down to the two things that we can focus on, they're going to create outsized returns. You really. Drilling into one to one communication until you've got 100 reviews is a very good use of your time. Okay, so that's one. Number two, it would be a good idea for you to build your audience in some way. And if you were to do a podcast about the most common ailments that you're seeing for people that come into the clinic, and you do that consistently because it's easy, it's light, and it's fun for you, then please do that. If that doesn't feel light and easy, you've got to decide if that's the best use of your time. If there's some other way to build your audience that is a good use of your time.
So rather than see the whole picture and try to build it at once, tell me on this call, what are the things right in front of you that you feel like are dominoes that will bring you some momentum?
Yeah, I think the reviews is number one. Number three, that's my focus. And I've been podcasting for so long. I've been podcasting for. Since 2016. I was just like, I need to, but. And I imagine I can find the time. It's just.
So. So when you podcast, what do you podcast about then?
I've been Podcasting about natural health and. And ways that we can heal. Since 2016, I've been people listen now.
Podcast. Excuse me, do people listen to the podcast?
It's been. I mean, it's been six months since I put it on episode, but yeah, I mean, nothing huge. Nothing huge. But, yeah, we definitely had listeners and. But I don't know if they're still there because I haven't put an episode.
Yeah, that doesn't matter right now. That's not. That's not where I'm going with this. When you podcasted, what was the most you ever got from an episode?
Yeah, like download, you think, you say?
Yeah, sure.
500 maybe is most.
What was the topic of that podcast?
That was actually an interview. Okay. That was. That was an interview with.
One of the lead actors in the show Heartland. It's a Canadian, like, soap opera show or something like that.
Okay. Why. Why did that podcast. Why do you think that that did. Well, you laughed at it being an interview. I think you laughed because it's like, oh, it was simple. Just interviewed somebody. Why did that podcast resonate?
Probably because he's got like half a million followers on Instagram. Probably.
Did he promote it?
He did throw it on his. He did throw it on his stories.
Yeah. So that. I mean, that certainly helps. Of course. What was the content of that podcast that you think resonated with people?
We were talking about health freedom. It was during that whole Covid fiasco.
Okay, got it. So it was a newsworthy topic from the perspective of a medical professional and someone with some reach.
Is that fair?
Yeah.
Okay. Is that type of content.
Light or heavy to you?
No, I mean, I really enjoy interviewing people. It's not hard at all. But it's hard getting the people to interview. That was the. That was the work for me.
Okay, well, it's going to be hard to consistently get people with half a million followers. That's true. Right.
Yeah.
But what if you're interviewing clients about what's ailing them?
That's actually. That's a good idea. I can start talking to the people that come in and see if they. That is actually a very good idea. I like that idea.
What if you were interviewing other medical prep professionals about where they specialize?
Yeah.
What if you. What if you interview people who follow you, who have specific questions about a pain that they're experiencing? Right. So if interviews feel lighter than you sitting there and coming up with ideas, then do that for a while. If it's easier for you to talk about what's going on in the world and giving your perspective from the lens of a medical professional. Do that for a while rather than try to perfect it. Just focus on momentum in the form of what feels light and easy that you can be consistent with. Do that and something will happen.
Yeah, that's okay. Those are two things that I could. That's two things I can definitely do because I do like to talk about just healing because I've been doing it for, what, seven years now? And, but. And I like that idea to talk to patients that have been using the sav and have been getting help through it. That, that, that, that's a really good idea because I think a lot of them would be willing to come on.
Great. Now, just one thing to note. Don't make the podcast about the product. You can work the product in there, but make it about the problem that they were solving. And then your podcast is how Mary.
Addressed her back pain, how Mary recovered from whatever it is.
Yeah.
See what I'm saying?
Yeah. Make it about the person, not the product.
That's right. You do that. And some. If you get reviews and you do that consistently with the content, something will happen over the next 90 days.
All right, that's what I'll focus on. Then I'm going to start typing, patience, start doing some interviews, and then, yeah, I'm just focusing on those 100 reviews. Good.
Good work, man. We're super excited for you. Thanks for sharing.
Yeah, no, thanks for all your help.
