Day in the Life of a 34 Year Old Multi-Millionaire

This is a YouTube video (Capitalism.com) featuring Ryan Daniel Moran. In this excerpt Moran describes recovering from prolonged burnout, depression, and anxiety and notes gradual return to higher capacity. The clip also records a Capitalist Pigs kickoff meeting (an NFT community launched ~2 months earlier), including networking, brainstorming a $100,000-backed brand contest involving influencer "Jimmy," and plans to buy a house in Austin to serve as an owned office/workshop space. The Austin property is framed as both a workspace and an investment, with optimistic revenue/productivity justifications (speaker estimates an extra $5–6M in output if co-located).

I can feel myself coming back, like, from the dead. Now I realize I've been at, like, under 50% capacity for, like, the last several years. So I was more depressed than I knew, more anxious than I was willing to admit, more burnt out than I knew. And I took that huge step back right earlier this year and started dealing with that stuff. And now I'm like, at 51% capacity. I just get glimpses right now from a good podcast or a good promotion or a speech from stage, but I'm now starting to feel like I'm coming back, and that's a good feeling.
This is the kickoff call for the Capitalist Pigs. So we launched the NFT two months ago, say, is the actual kickoff call to start the group and start building the communities. There are a lot of really strong heavy hitters in the Capitalist Pigs. And the purpose of today is to meet one another. So with that, I want to give you a couple of updates of opportunities that we are looking at and opportunities that are coming down the pipe for you. I just have to follow that because you don't know who you're going to be.
That's a great day. Good morning, dude.
Good to see you.
That was funny thing I wanted to do was, if we have time, call Jimmy. I'll text him right now. See, he's free.
Jimmy, what's up, man?
Oh, baby.
Oh, baby.
One thing I think we'll talk about is just what can we come up with from, like, a physical product side that we think might support what you're wanting to do on the vision side. So we'll have those conversations from, like, an equity position standpoint, does it excite you to have equity pieces in, like, a brand here that you like and a brand here that you like? Does that excite you?
Extremely. Yeah. All right.
Thanks, Jimmy. Good to meet you.
See you, bud.
Bye.
That's an interesting idea for a contest. So if we're gonna put up a hundred grand for a business and we bring Jimmy in because that's our influencer relationship and Jimmy will do a video for it, but you have to show how your business impacts the world for kindness. That's freaking exciting.
Well, what strikes me about Jimmy is he's just purely in purpose, right? He doesn't give a. I want to say fuck, but Jimmy might see this. And now I'm embarrassed to curse in front of Jimmy, but, like, he doesn't give a fuck about money or status. He's just in purpose. And, and, and it. When you're in that, everything just unfolds and so it unfolds and you get everything you want. What'd you think of this idea? We hold a contest for a brand. Like a new brand. How is your brand gonna impact the world? The winner gets $100,000 in funding advisory from the three of us and a video from Jimmy Sponsor. Like brand changing. That's insane.
So now we're gonna head out to. To look at some houses. The. The idea is we want to buy a house in Austin that we use as an office and can host workshops in. And we sort of I my primary residence. We sort of do this, but we want to have a separate place that's specific for work, workshops and like hosting guests and stuff like that. Because we work so much better when we're all in one place. And rather than rent a place, might as well just own a place that might appreciate in value. So we're looking at doing that and we're kicking around ways to pay for it with like workshops and stuff like that. So we're going to go look at some really nice places.
This would be my room.
Lounge.
To put a conference table here or to put a conference table downstairs. And downstairs in here is more like.
This is very well built.
This is the finest realtor in all Austin right here.
Warren Cole, everybody.
I trust him with everything. Flip the company again.
Buy another house.
Right? What we would do here is.
This would be the workshop area.
Hey, buddy. This would be the workshop area. What do you think?
Yeah, it's.
It's a ceramic thing.
That's. That's the thing you notice about the house.
It's the ceramic thing.
Thing. Anyway, this would be the conference room. This would be the conference where we do workshops. So you'd have a really big conference table here. This would be kind of the shared space where you would have everybody up for. For like a workshop. Also be for like big team meetings.
Pretty cool.
This is our favorite so far. There's lots of common spaces for workshops and for team meetings, conference rooms and enough bedrooms that we could turn them into offices. And for like when we have clients or workshop guests. I mean, this is spectacular. This is just a great place for everybody to hang out and get work done. The question tomer is, will this happen House help us do at least a million dollars in extra productivity a year? That's the question. That's the question. Because that's how we have to justify it. I'm sure that's five million. I think so too. Just five, six million dollars. We're all in the same place. I think we'll make an extra 5 or 6 million. And the pool, and the little pool is the. Is the maker right there. I often times look at my goals.
And I view how big the gap is between where I am now and the goals that I have. And the way I've been flipping it in my mind is that I'm doing it now, I'm in it now, I'm creating it now. I'm doing the work now. And so oftentimes I would do work and then I would be disappointed because I didn't. We're still not there. But the truth is the work is the creation of what it is that we're going. And now I don't feel like I'm a loser because I'm not out there. I now feel like I'm in motion towards it. And that perspective gives me the energy to keep going and make it better and better. And it's unfolding in a much more enjoyable way. So I can feel myself coming back. And I'm not going to rush it because if I rush it, then I'll just burn myself out again. But if I can be okay in the unfolding that it will happen. And even if it doesn't happen, that's okay.
