A short motivational YouTube video (Capitalism.com, uploaded Nov 13, 2018) featuring Ryan Daniel Moran and a second speaker advocating entrepreneurship, investing, and personal freedom. Through personal anecdote (growing up poor, parental separation) and declarative lines, the speakers argue that questioning norms, pursuing independence, and building businesses create freedom and reshape what is possible.

I wasn't born a millionaire. I just grew up poor. And I didn't want to stay that way. Most people pursue being comfortable. They settle down, forget their dreams, and live out their lives in a quiet state of regret. They watch as people like you and me are bold enough, daring enough, skeptical enough to do something different. For a while, I thought I was alone. But later I learned that there are others like you.
Getting by doesn't do it for people like you and me. We pursue the edges, we question the systems, and we create our own luck. There might only be a few of us that think differently, but we literally write the story of history. We are the people that others admire, follow, and respect.
I'm Ryan Daniel Moran. I'm an entrepreneur. I'm an investor.
When I was 10, my parents split. I know a lot of kids go through that. But in that moment, I believed that I had to take care of myself. So I learned about money, about investing, about business, about health. I questioned religion. I questioned politics. I questioned the way of life that others had built. I wanted freedom. Freedom is redefining the rules and bending them to your demands. Freedom is making more money than your peers think is okay. Freedom is outliving the standard lifespan. Freedom is a curiosity to know what is true. And it is about creating your own results. Freedom is creating a life on your terms. Building businesses, investing. Questioning the normal, pursuing the impossible.
One person who is free can do more than the other 99 who are enslaved. We may only be 1% of the world, but that's all it takes. It takes one to redefine what's possible.
