I personally thrive on having very long periods of uninterrupted time for me to do creative work. Most of my work is thinking. It's creative, it's writing, it's making content, it's helping customers. And doing that requires for me very long periods of open time. I get my best ideas when I go on vacation, or when I'm on a long hike, or when I'm meeting with a friend. Those are the things that I need to prioritize in order to feel like I'm actually being productive. Whereas if I cram everything into my day and I have a very, very full day, I personally don't feel like I have the creativity in order to create the things that really move the needle or that make me money.
