Alright, so we're here in Dracula's castle, which we just found out has nothing to do with Dracula, but we're here with this guy here. Tell him who you are.
Hey, I'm Tyrone Odiohe from Manchester, England.
And Tyrone was just telling me that his brand quadrupled in size in the last six months. How the hell did that happen?
It was all to do with positioning and pretty much ranking. We got ranked for our keywords to the top position, so that just made a tremendous difference.
All on Amazon?
All on Amazon.
Cool. How long ago did you start?
Just under two years.
Two years. And how's your business doing now?
It's doing good. We're doing low to medium six figures a month.
So what does that mean, like 150k? Yeah, that's great. 150k a month. How did you get started?
It was quite by chance. I just really came across ASM through somebody and after I signed up for it, I just really went full in with it and just put everything I had into the businessman. That's pretty much it. And then, you know, just joined as many groups as I could to get as much info like the tribe so I could get some of that cutting edge info on. On the Amazon business, the branding, you know, pretty much the whole nine yards. And that's just been it pretty much for the past two years.
And how long did it take you to go from 0 to about 100k a month?
Good question. I think it was around. Around a year. Around a year.
Good stuff, man. That's the trajectory, getting to 100k in about a year just by releasing products, getting them ranked, getting reviews and any secrets to that formula or did you just follow that plan?
It was pretty much, to be honest, the main secret was just really being focused and not giving up because we had some really big setbacks. We had issues with the product, we had issues with suppliers and people I know who had some of the problems just quit and turned into business.
You all, you always have problems.
Yeah.
It doesn't matter if you're worth a billion dollars, you always have problems. Where do I invest it next? You're always gonna run your problems, just get better.
Yeah.
So I have a product. How do I sell this product? How do I get more reviews for this product? How do I grow this from 100k to 500k? Which is the problem you're dealing with now. How do I grow this to 500k a month from 100k? Good problems to have though.
That's right.
But congratulations, Tyrone. Super proud of you, man. Keep it up.
