How He Hit 100 Sales A Day Just 6 DAYS After Launch! | Road To $1M

Marwan launched a keyboard stand brand to just 140 people and hit 100 sales in a single day within four weeks. Ryan Daniel Moran walks through the playbook: pick your person, choose one product, set a launch date, pre-sell to a small responsive audience, and aim for 25 sales a day as your first milestone toward $1M.

Three weeks after this conversation, the person on the call got their first 25 sales a day, starting from nothing. Four weeks after this conversation, he had his first hundred sale day. Things are happening fast, ladies and gentlemen. And in this episode, you're going to hear a consulting call that I had with Marwan inside of the 1%, who was just getting ready to launch his new brand. He's had some success in the past, but he says he left a ton of money on the table because he didn't know about this kind of stuff. He didn't know about building a brand. He didn't know about the stuff that.
We talk about here on this channel.
So in this episode, I set Marwan up for building the foundation of a business that can scale, that he can have an eight figure exit on. And get this, he launches it three weeks later with stunning success. Here's the kicker that you'll want to know as you listen to this episode. Marwan built a very small audience that he could launch to. How big was that audience exactly? 140 people. And with that 140 people, that was enough for him to smash a Launch, get to 25 sales a day and have his first 100 sale day. This is what we teach inside the 1%. You need a tiny little audience to launch to. And if you do that, it gives you the momentum and the cash flow to get something off the ground. You do not need to wait six months for your first sale. You need to make make decisions as fast as possible and build a tiny little audience and then launch something. And if you can't do that in 90 days, we're moving too slow. Marwan does it three weeks after this call and he's already pacing a million dollar business. So this is our conversation that set him up to launch that business that is already screaming out of the gate. When you're ready for results like this, go to capitalism.com 1. You can find out what we do and apply to work with us inside there. Now let's go hear this case study with Marwan.
Tell me a little bit about your previous brand.
So my previous brand is Baby Sunnies. It's basically the best selling baby kids sunglasses in the U.S. okay.
And you didn't build an audience?
No, Nothing.
Okay.
I just launched on Amazon just with BBC. I didn't have anything. I didn't even have a shopify store, no email list, nothing. Obviously the brand name is Baby Sunny. So what am I selling? I'm selling baby sunglasses. So obviously I chose a product first and then I built a brand about. Around it, and then the person came last. The person is obviously parents. Right. I know how to win on Amazon, and I know how to win on Amazon this time as well. So I'm not worried about the success of the brand, but I'm trying to do something that I didn't do before, because I'm trying to achieve something that I didn't achieve before.
That's right. That's right. And so you won on Amazon, but it made it difficult for you to have any other product that was not baby sunglasses, which limits your valuation, which limits your scale, your ability to advertise 100%, and your.
Especially the valuation. Especially the valuation. Because I sold the 3X, I could have sold it at 5X if I had the audience and the email list and the brand, the real. The person first.
I just. I want to highlight that you didn't build an audience, but you still did great. Right. So I want to honor that. But I also want to honor the fact that you recognize that the difference in doing this work that a lot of people avoid, including your younger self, could be million. The difference is millions of dollars. And so many people want to jump right to, how do I sell some shit? And we can answer that question. Marwan answered that question, and he did really well answering that question. But if you had a time machine, you would go back and tweak a couple things. The difference is millions of dollars. This is why I preach this stuff. So thank you for serving as such a good example and an echo of what I believe and teach. How can I help you build the foundation from the start this time?
I'm having a very specific dilemma right now. So basically, what I had in mind for audience building is the skelo. The skelo is a penguin, which looks like a human. And I made a couple of videos, like an animation videos, and the Skelo. I had this idea because I was insecure about me being Arab, me being brown, me having accents, me being fat, all that kind of stuff. I was insecure to be in front of the camera and to be the face of the brand. So I decided that I'm going to create, like, a fictional person, a fictional character.
Okay.
Which is the Skello. The penguin. We're.
We're getting to a really specific question before we've really set up the target. So let's set up the target a little bit first. Tell me about the person that you're serving that you want to build an audience around.
Yeah. So my person is a person who works from home that is getting a little bit more conscious about their health posture.
Basically their posture and their ergonomics around the home office. So I'm also. My person doesn't work from bed or sofa, so they have a dedicated desk or at least a bench or table that they work on. Like a specific dedicated place that they work on.
So from like a branding perspective, in the last three years, a billion people work from home that didn't previously work from home. We now have all of these challenges of we work in our pajamas, we sit at the kitchen table, and so all of a sudden we have things like standing desks and special chairs and special mats. And there's this whole new industry in order to prevent and correct the issues that are happening from us sitting at really crappy desks and really crappy chairs.
I'm that person as well. So I know my problem. I know my lower back pain, I know my wrist pain. I know. I know all the kind of shit that I got after working four years from home with kids, with the wife, with everything. And yeah, I kind of know the pain points because I've been there. So I kind of know what products I already have like 12, 15 products that I'm going to launch. And I'm having also new ideas. So my first product is a, is a keyboard stand with a wrist rest. And actually I took it maybe a little bit further when it comes to building this brand. So I got my person first, and then I got my brand values and what I. What I want my brand to do. So, yes, I got my brand, my person first, and then I got my brand. My brand message or value is I'm so tired of the whole disk accessories industry is either so expensive disk accessories, which are super high quality, or cheap stuff on Amazon that are. And I wanted to fix that. I wanted to close that gap a little bit. That gap a little bit. And create products that are premium and at the same time affordable.
Perfect. And it sounds like your question is more over the specifics of how you go about doing that.
My question is actually even a little bit more specific. Okay, so I'm building a YouTube channel. And now I decided that I'm gonna put myself on the channel instead of only the scale of the penguin animation. I'm gonna be there as well. But my question is, would you think the best thing to do is to have a separate channel just for Mar1, like Mar1 channel, just like Ryan Daniel Moran channel that is helping people with their productivity, with their home office work, with their entrepreneurship journey, or do you Think I should put everything under the Skillo umbrella, keeping in mind that I'm building this brand to sell it exactly as the last brand and exactly as the next brand. Because this is. Once you do it, this is exactly what you do.
Right.
Well, I will grow it and selling it.
I will tell you what my experience has been. My experience is that if you're building to sell, keeping all branded things on a separate channel is best. However, I have also experienced that it is very difficult to maintain energy and enthusiasm on two different channels when neither of them has taken off. It's a big mental hurdle to try and consistently post on two new places rather than just go all in on one. So it would be my suggestion that you go all in on this, the branded YouTube channel. And then when you want to start your personal brand, you do that later as the founder of this company, but that you separate them later. I do think most people would rather hear from, especially on YouTube, would rather hear from you than an animated character. I think animated characters are great for ads. If you were to do a. A funny cartoon about people who work from home, that's great, you know, but for your stage of the business, I would do it personally at the beginning, unless you have a very good reason not to.
Perfect. Perfect. That's all I needed to hear. So, because I was so afraid that later on, maybe when I'm selling this brand and I'm still the face of the Scala, I'm still the part of the YouTube channel, but I want to sell, for example, 100% of the company, not stay on board with 20% or shares. So if I want to get really out of the company, would that affect the valuation? Because I'm not part of the deal, because I'm not part of the YouTube channel and the YouTube channel is part of.
The only reason why that would limit your valuation was it'd be if the business was very highly dependent on the YouTube channel. Alex Hormozi sold 100% of gym launch, or it may. It may have been 80%. He sold almost all of Gym Launch while he was the face of Gym Launch because the product did not require Alex. The only place that he needed to be replaced was the ads. You can replace yourself as the face of a business or of content. You can do it pretty straightforward. You just know that you need to plan for that. So I think it is okay for you to be the face of that, knowing that eventually you're going to make a pivot, but you're not going to let that prevent you from going all in on service to your person for quite some time. I mean, there may come a day that Ryan Daniel Moran is replaced as the face of capitalism.com, you know, but that doesn't restrict me from showing up how I need to show up in order to build this company.
Thank you, brother. I really appreciate it. That's a lot of clarity and that's exactly what I needed.
Thank you. Has the brand launched yet?
So I pre. Launched. I got a little bit of pre sales.
Yeah. Good.
To be honest, only from people in the group. In the 1% group.
Okay, so it was you. You didn't have an audience at all, you just kind of posted about it in the 1%?
No, I just started posting on YouTube like, like a week ago. And again I'm, I'm doing the same thing again, launching on Amazon with the numbers, with the data.
Yeah.
This is what you should do.
I'm gonna be the best seller. I'm gonna send screenshots in the. It's a million dollar business from days. Yeah, I think it's gonna be from day four or five, you're gonna reach that 3,000, $4,000 a day. So that's, that's what I do. That's what I'm, what I'm really good at. But this audience building, I want to do it, but I, I don't want to wait a year for me to have solid audience and then launch. I want to launch and do things right and build an email list and have a person so here at the same time still make money on Amazon.
You know, this is the good news that you will really understand and that I think will help this click for you in your market. How many sales make a product a top 10 seller in, in this specific market?
In this specific market, it's, it's around 5,000 to 6,000 units a month.
Okay.
In this specific product. I mean, not the market.
Yeah, just this product to be, to be like the number one seller. So a few hundred puts you in the top 10, top 15, at least short term.
I mean, I'm going to be the number one from.
Oh, yeah, Yeah. I just, I just, I just mean that at the, in the beginning stages, you only need a few hundred people in order to have review velocity to give the algorithm what it wants. To come out of nowhere and be in one of the top 10. Which feeds the algorithm makes your PPC ads convert quicker. So I don't have the biggest audience in the world. Right. But I have a very responsive audience because I do things like this. And so when you realize that you don't need that many people to care about what you're doing, then it sort of sets you free to go all in on the audience building stuff that actually works. So I'm thinking about scaling. If I were you, I would probably start a Facebook group that did office hours together that said, hey, we're going to group you into different zoom rooms. And in those zoom rooms we're going to be people from who work from home that live in Virginia and we're going to do work from home for people who are in the Internet marketing industry. And we're going to do work from home office. And you just group people into little office hours and you build a little community of people who are just working together from home. You do it like a digital.
That's brilliant.
And that. So. And you see the difference there is that you are targeting a person, not a product like that is. That is such a beautiful distinction between the person you're targeting works from home. Most people would say ergonomic keyboard people with wrist problems. That's my person. We go one layer out. We say it's just people who work from home. What do they need the most? They need community and connection. They need to feel less alone. So let's do a free group or you make a donation to a charity in order to get lifetime access to this group. And then we do little breakouts and we, when we, when our, when our products start selling really well, we might have a community manager who is our first employee who's just like doing cool things in the community and like grouping people together and creating co working hours and happy hours. And so we have this great community of people and then our products just catch fire.
Like that man, that's a lead magnet. Actually. That's.
Yeah.
That's something that I can, that I can put some little bit of. Little bit of advertising cash into.
Yeah.
And create just instead of the ebook that I'm going to release hopefully tomorrow. The posture. About the posture. But I can also do. How do you feel lonely working on your own? Do you want to be in a, in a, like a digital virtual work workspace? Work with other people and.
And then you start doing. You could start doing geotargeting. It's like do you work from home? From Texas. In Texas. So do we.
Yeah.
Come hang out.
Let's have this, let's have like one person from Texas to manage some meetings there. One person from California. One person from. One person from.
That's right.
This is, this is Good stuff. Thank you.
If you were to, if you were to do that, I would invest in this company tomorrow. You know, you build an audience of people that working works from home and you have your Amazon experience. That's just as a home run. The home run business right there.
Thank you, Ryan.
You don't need to have everything figured out. You don't need to have everything perfect. You don't need to have a big audience, you don't need to have influencer relationships. You don't need to have the perfect product idea. You don't need to have experience doing this before. You just need to make decisions, need to make decisions as fast as possible.
Who's the person that we're going to serve?
What's the first product? Can we set a launch date? Can we pre sell this? Can we build a tiny audience of about a hundred people so that we know that we're going to make a sale? We, we can do all of that in 30 to 90 days, have our first sale and build the foundation for getting to 25 sales a day, which then we just need to repeat three more times until we have a million dollar business. That's the playbook, that's the formula. Now you know everything that you need to know to launch a million dollar business. It's just a matter of making those decisions, being in alignment with them and taking the actions to be able to build that thing out. If you want some help, come do what Marwan did and join the 1%. You can find out what we do over@Capitalism.com 1.
