How I Got A Tesla For Free (Almost)

Ryan Daniel Moran financed a Tesla for $100,000 at 1.99% and invested the cash elsewhere to generate $1,400 monthly, covering the payments without touching his principal. He targets 17-18% annual returns through private notes, REITs, and rental real estate to make the luxury car essentially free.

Hey, guys. Ryan, Daniel Moran here. I wanted to shoot a quick free training for you with a really cool hype y sexy title called How I Got a Tesla for Free. Almost. How do I look in black and white, by the way? Pretty good, right? So I borrowed a page out of rich people's handbook recently and have been using this strategy to basically get free toys. And that sounds all hypey and sexy, but I'm going to explain it to you because I use this strategy to get my Tesla, whose name is Jenny, by the way, named after my best friend Mark, Jenny, who inspired me to think bigger in business and will be speaking at Freedom Fast lane live in December 11, 12 and 13 in Austin, Texas. Tickets go on sale August 11 at freedomfastlinelive.com Anyway, I recently bought Jenny my Tesla and I used the strategy to get her for free. Almost free. So I'm going to walk you through this strategy. And this was borrowed from somebody who inspired me growing up, Robert Kiyosaki. And Robert Kiyosaki basically makes the argument, where the hell is my eraser? There we go. He makes the argument that rich people, when they buy something, a toy, they don't pay cash and they don't even buy the toy. They finance the toy and then they buy an asset that pays for the toy. So let me walk you through what this looks like. So I bought Jenny the Tesla, not what you're thinking. I bought Tesla. I bought Tesla. I bought Jenny. She was approximately $100,000.
That's what the Tesla cost.
Okay? Now, I don't like debt. I don't like having to make payments. I don't like that idea. So even the idea of the fact that the car interest payment was only 1.99%, basically free money, I hate that thought. I hate the thought of having to make a payment. So my temptation in my conservative nature would be to just pay this, pay cash for the $100,000. Now, where did the $100,000 come from? We'll actually talk about that in video number two. All right, so but for now, we're going to talk about how we paid for this, how we made the payments for this. We'll talk about where the 100,000 came from in video two. So I didn't want to have to make those payments and I would normally just pay cash for this. But financially, that wouldn't make much sense because if we take the smart approach, we can get this basically for free. And it looks like this. If we finance this.
The payment on $100,000 at 1.99%.
Is about approximately.
$1,400 a month. It's a six year loan. Alright, so our options are we could pay cash for the Tesla, or we could finance it at 1400 bucks a month for six years.
So this is what I did.
Rather than put $100,000 into thin air and just make it go away, which is what would happen if you pay cash for it. I kept the hundred grand, put the hundred grand. Let's do this in green. Because green is the color of money. We put this into some sort of an investment.
What we know is that we need to be able to get 1,400 bucks a month from this investment. So in theory, if we can take the hundred grand and put it into an investment that pays on average 1.4% per month.
Or about 17 to 18% per year, which, which sounds really high, but we can do this.
Then we'll then get.
1,400 bucks a month.
Which will then pay for this. So as a result.
Rather than the cash going away and disappearing, this stays.
In your control, in your bank account. It's still yours. The Tesla or whatever toy you're buying is born.
This stays in your bank account and you acquire an asset that then pays for your new toy. Now where does this come from? Where do you get 1.4% per month? That sounds hard, that sounds high. What's actually a basket of a few different investments. So there are several places that will give you this and I'll give you a couple of them. A couple ones that I like involve.
Private notes.
Real estate investment trusts.
And we could do real estate. Actually, let's run through that as an example.
Let's just take one of these. Now I chose a basket of investments, but let's take just a real estate example. Let's say we were just to do this in real estate.
The way this would work is we would take the hundred grand, we would put it into a house or a piece of cash flowing real estate, where there was a renter who was paying this 1,400 bucks a month, we would then take that payment and use that to pay for the toy, the Tesla. Now what happens here is that the asset pays for the toy, and after six years you still have this. Plus this money stays in your bank account and there's a chance that it might also increase in value. So you turn what could have been $100,000 expense into an asset that pays for the toy and might actually increase your net worth over time. This is a process of acquiring Assets to pay for your life and pay for your toy that you can use for anything. I used it for the Tesla. But you can use this for whatever it is that you want to buy or a way that you can increase expenses. One of the big questions that kind of comes up as an entrepreneur is when can I increase my expenses? I'm taking in money from a business. When do I get to increase the expenses of my life? What's safe, what's acceptable? What will make me comfortable? Well, this is one of the ways that you can identify that and solve that. Without touching your principal, without touching the amount of money that's in the bank account, you simply take this money, put it into assets, and then you can live off of the cash flow that comes from this. So if your monthly expenses are eight grand a month.
Then all we need to factor is how do we get $8,000 a month in passive cash flow from the asset and what will that cost? What interest rate are we going to get? What payment are we going to get? Then how much principal do we need to make in our business so that we can put that into an asset that will then pay for our life? That's how we identify how we get passive cash flow and how much we need to live a truly free life. Or if you're like me, you can use it to finally feel good about the fact that you just bought a ridiculously expensive, absurdly insane fast car. So I have a little bit of a conservative bug, a conservative bone in my body where I don't like to spend money as much as I could. So this is the way that I feel good about the money that I'm spending, because I get to keep it, I get to invest it, it grows. And all my toys are then paid for basically for free, almost for free. Now, one other quick thing.
The way that I knocked off a big portion of this is I bought. I don't have any. I don't have any more room to write. So I'll just look at you real handsome in this camera. I bought the Tesla in the. I bought the Tesla in the company name. So this was actually like half off.
Because the government is going to pay for half of it anyway. We'll go through more of this in video, too. So I hope this video was helpful for you. And in the next couple videos, I'm going to be walking you through, first of all, where this hundred grand came from. That hundred grand came from. We're going to talk about my wealth triad strategy, which is how to invest this type of cash for long term wealth and profit. We're also going to be talking about tax reduction and we're going to be talking about shielding your profits from ever going down in value or ever going away. We all have that nightmare scenario of what happens to our money if it all goes away. We're going to talk about how to address that and we'll dive more into this process and the type of assets that you can buy. On an upcoming training class that I'm doing called how to make and keep $1 million. It's another sexy hypey name for you. So that's over@perfectly passiveincome.com there's also a link on this page to go sign up for that class. And that class is on August 9th at 1:00pm Eastern. So I, I hope you'll stick around for videos 2 and 3 in this series and also register for the free training class on August 9th. I'll see you then.
