Young people have an advantage as entrepreneurs because they can see trends really early. If you and your friends are looking at the older generations and you think that they're doing something stupid, that means that there's probably a business opportunity to be had. If you and your friends are doing something different than your parents or even people 10 years older than you, and you think that's going to stick around for most of your life, that's a really good indication of a business. For example, I was buying Apple computers when I was in college, and that was rare. But all the people who had Apple computers knew that it was a superior product, and now it's one of the biggest companies in the world. If you're using AI products or apps, or you're using different supplements or different skin creams, or if you're just doing something different and spending your money on that thing and it's different than the other generations, that is one of the best indications that you're at the beginning of a trend. And if you could ride a trend for a few years, that is sometimes better than being talented because the waves of the marketplace will take a whole lot of entrepreneurs with them and make them very, very rich.
