In 60 seconds, I can tell you why. Optimism will make you more money than fear ever will. Fear is always looking for the thing around the corner that is going to put you under. Optimism says, even if there is something that is around the corner, I'm going to get through it anyway. Fear says I will let a setback prevent me from pursuing anything. Optimism says there will be setbacks and I'm going to get through it anyway. We can just look at the stock market, for example. Is there a crash coming? Yes, there always is. And there have been many, many, many crashes. But guess what? We always recover and we always grow beyond it. Let's look at AI. Is AI going to destroy jobs? Yes. And let's look at every other technological innovation. Some people are put out of jobs and then they get freed up to go into other industries that are more productive as a result. There are always setbacks. Your life is a series of setbacks, and if you are preparing to avoid the setbacks, you will never think long term enough in order to be successful. But if you accept that there are going to be setbacks and you know that you're going to grow through them, then you have the mindset makes you wealthy.
