People say that money is evil, but being broke never helped anyone. When I went to college I thought that I was going to be a pastor and a mentor of mine gave me some advice that I didn't agree with at first, but it changed my life. He said, you can't really change the world unless you have a lot of money. I'm sure there's exceptions, but let's at least say it's a lot easier to influence change when you have a lot of money. Money is just energy and when you have a lot of iou, money is like having an IOU in the future. You've done some good and you have an IOU for other people in the future. When you have a lot of IOUs, you can call out a lot of favors to impact whatever change you want. It is not the money that makes something evil, it is the person behind it that determines whether it is good or it is evil.
