If you've only got two or three hours per day, can you still build a million dollar business? In this video I'm going to break this down for you, tell you what to do and show you the playbook so that you can build a million dollar business even if you've only got a few hours per day to work on it. In this video I want to share with you the things that actually matter. So if you've got two or three hours per day to build your business, if you did only these things in that two to three hour block, you can build a million dollar business. I know because I've done it and I've helped and advised hundreds of other entrepreneurs to do the same thing. If you're new here, my name is Ryan Daniel Moran and I invest in E commerce brands. I help entrepreneurs build million dollar businesses and then I have a fund that partners with the entrepreneurs that follow that playbook and I advise them from 1 million to $10 million so that we can have an exit together. I have one exit as a founder for $16 million. I have a few exits as an investor and I have a private investment fund that invests in people like you who are following this playbook. So I'm going to share with you the playbook for how to get to 100k per month even if you've only got 2 or 3 hours per day. My expertise is in E commerce brands that's selling physical stuff. And in this video I'm assuming that you've got a product to sell and you already know the direction that you want to go. Now, this plan will work for service based businesses. It will work for affiliate marketing businesses, it will work for businesses that are already over a million dollars. But I'm framing this for the person who already has a product but is doing under a million dollars per year. If you don't have a product to sell or if you don't know what business you're going to be building, go over to capitalism.com playbook. This is my free course to help you pick a product, get it launched and have a path to getting four products at 25 sales a day at a $30 price point. Why? Because. Run the numbers. That's $1 million business. Now to get to $1 million business or $100,000 per month, it doesn't matter how much we work, it just matters how effective a few things that we do are. We only need a few things in order to have a seven figure business. We need leads, we need something to sell those leads and third, we need something that will compound, meaning something that will grow over time. We won't get to a million dollar business as a side hustle. If we have to work every time we want to make money, we need something that is going to grow without us. Kind of like planting seeds that don't look like much right now, but if we keep watering that seed seed, it's going to grow even when we're not watering it. As entrepreneurs, that's what we're looking for. We're looking for the thing that will grow bigger than our focus, bigger than us just hunkering down and hustling. So we need leads, we need something to sell those leads and we need something that will compound. And I don't mean to insult your intelligence here, but a lot of entrepreneurs miss that last piece. They think about what they can sell and they're focused on selling that thing, but they don't ever focus on building the engine that is going to grow over time. And therefore they never really get free. So let's break down how and what strategies we can use to get leads, sell things to those leads and build something that compounds over time. Last week I got a call from a personal friend and this friend is building an E commerce business and he was feeling really frustrated. He was feeling frustrated because he wants this thing to work so bad and it is his side hustle, but he's got two or three hours a day to work on it and he doesn't know what to focus on. He's got all these ideas and all these connections and a great product with good margins and happy customers too. But the business is only doing maybe $10,000 a month if that. And he knows that it could be something much bigger. But he doesn't know what to do. He doesn't know what to focus on first. I asked him what's the goal? And he said the goal is $100,000 a month in top line revenue. Great. Where are we at right now? We're at about $10,000 a month in top line revenue. Now this is interesting because he's got this goal in his mind, but he sees a $90,000 per month gap. So how are you going to feel when you wake up every morning and you just feel a $90,000 gap? Most of us would feel demotivated and most of us would also try to take big risks to close the gap. So I asked him this question so that I could set a goal that was hittable in the next 90 days and in this case getting to $25,000 per month will take like 60 to 90 days. My formula for building $1 million business is four products at 25 sales a day, which is 100 sales a day. At a $30 price point, that's $3,000 a day, which is a million dollar business. That whole process takes a year, but getting to 25 sales a day takes about three months. And then we just need to release more products over time so that we have a million dollar business. In my friend's case, he already has a product. He already has customers. He already has some testimonials from people who love the product. He's already listed on Amazon and Shopify. It's already got some sales doing about $10,000 a month. So I know if we just bring the goal down to let's get a consistent $25,000 per month, we can use dopamine to our advantage. We as entrepreneurs see all these people who are killing it. And this guy's driving this car. This guy's worth $1 billion. This guy's making a million dollars a month. And we try to jump to that level rather than bringing the goal that's right in front of us and working on that, which would be really exciting. The next thing I asked my friend was, how do you want to get there? There's a bunch of different strategies that you could follow. You could run ads, you could build relationships with influencers, you could post a bunch of content, you could crush Amazon.com, you could build the most highly converting store or build a funnel. Which one of these do you want to focus on? That's a hard question for some entrepreneurs because they all work and we all see ads from every other entrepreneur who's killing it telling you that their way is the way. Truth is, all of them work. So we just need to pick one. And in this case, my friend said that he wanted to hit $100,000 per month organically. What does that mean? That means that he did not want to spend a bunch of money on advertising. He didn't want to spend a bunch of money sponsoring influencers. He didn't want to spend a bunch of money on team or building a complicated funnel. He wanted it to be organic. He wanted to be grassroots led. And I said, great, let's come up with a strategy to where we can have organic growth to $25,000 per month. And already we're starting to hone in on what the focus needs to be for the next 90 days for him to build this to $25,000 a month and eventually $100,000 per month in about two to three hours per day. The final question that I asked him was if you want to grow organically, then what type of content tends to grow your organic reach or get more organic customers? And his answer was proof. When he gets proof from his customer base, other people see that and they want to buy. So we know the goal, $100,000 per month, but we're going to chunk that into a $25,000 mini goal. We know we want to get there organically and we know that in his opinion, proof is the best organic content to grow the audience and bring in more customers. So now let's go into the playbook. What do we do in order to almost guarantee that we build a hundred thousand dollar per month business in two to three hours per day? What we do from here is create the daily habits that we can do in two to three hours per day that move the needle forward. So in the case of my friend, I said if proof is your best content, you should spend 30 minutes a day gathering proof. How do you gather proof? You ask for reviews on Amazon. You text your friends that use your product and love it. You go through old videos that people have sent you about the product and you look at the screenshots that people took. You go through your past customer emails and look for the things that people have said about you. Just gather as much as you can. And for you, what this might look like is spending 30 minutes gathering feedback from your customers, gathering feedback from your peers or friends, or creating content that will resonate with your target audience. But for 30 minutes a day, we are gathering or creating content that will resonate with our ideal buyer. 30 minutes a day, that's enough for one post and a couple of stories. That's enough to start. If we post a piece of content on whatever platform you want and we're regularly staying in front of our customers and potential customers, that's enough to start. Especially when you marry it with step two. Step two is to send all of that attention, whether it is coming From Instagram or LinkedIn or your podcast, wherever you're creating content and sending all of them to some sort of a lead capture. Remember I said that in order to have $100,000 per month business, we need to get leads, we need to sell things to those leads, and we need something that will compound. This is the place that many e commerce entrepreneurs completely skip over. They never focus on getting leads. They sell stuff on Amazon, they create content, they sponsor influencers, but they never Build leads. Leads will compound. Leads will become raving fans. This is the lifeblood of any online business, especially an e commerce business. And I would argue that it's the fast lane to getting to 100k per month. And it baffles me that more e commerce entrepreneurs, especially Amazon based sellers, do not focus on building leads and cultivating a responsive email list. So your job is for 30 minutes a day to prepare and create content and to send all that traffic to some lead capture. The easiest, laziest way to do this is is simply to offer a coupon for first customers. So if someone sees your content and you have a call to action to save $15 on your first order, somebody who clicks that link and enters their email address is a likely buyer. They're opting in for the product and they're getting some sort of a discount for doing so. They're a likely purchaser and you've collected the lead. Now we are getting free leads and customers on whatever channel where we are taking sales. Fun story about this. I invested in a company that was creating a bunch of content and sending them straight over to Amazon and it was working okay. But I pounded on the table and yelled at him. I just couldn't contain my frustration and I said, you are being irresponsible with my capital by not sending this traffic over to an email list first. And that finally got him to build a list and his business more than doubled over the following few months. And he said, I've seen the light. I'll never make this mistake again. Email lists will compound, audiences compound, and we have to focus on things that will compound over a few months or years if we want to have a multimillion dollar business that we can sell for a whack ton of money and have all the freedom that you're looking for now. At first. First, when you're creating content, there's going to be a hundred people who see your stuff. But you would be stunned at the types of people that come out of the woodwork to support you when you start creating content about your brand. Raving fans, investors, influencers, people who know somebody. So many entrepreneurs will overlook creating content about their business or their brand because they feel like not enough people are seeing it. But what we're really going for is building depth in relationship with the people who are paying attention. So the next step is to Send at least 5 messages to people who are looking at your content, people who are following you, people who are commenting, and simply opening up a conversation with those people. Some of them are going to become customers. Some of them are going to become reviews, Some of them are going to become video testimonials. Some of them are going to tell you that they love your product, and you're going to screenshot that, and it's going to be part of your content gathering system. So when we start initiating conversations, we also make it easier for us to create content. So we're getting better at these habits, the habits of gathering content, posting content, building a list, and building relationships. Those four habits on a daily basis will take about 90 minutes, and they don't move the needle within 24 hours or even 48 hours. But after a week, we have new relationships with potential customers. We have some people who are opting into our email list, and they're likely customers. We're starting to build an audience. We're starting to sell product. We're starting to cultivate relationships with people who will leave reviews. And now the snowball has started to roll down the hill. The final thing in this side hustle process is to take all of this attention, the emails that you're getting, the viewers that you're getting on your content, the relationships that you're building, and to focus all of that into something that will compound. Now, what are the things that will compound? Well, audience compounds. Over time, your audience compounds. It grows at a faster and faster rate, and you get more subscribers, you get more followers, you get more potential buyers for your products. But that's not the only thing that will compound. Amazon will compound. When you get a lot of reviews and you start to rank for keywords, your conversions go up. So you start to show up for more keywords, and you start to convert at a higher rate, and you get more reviews because you're getting more customers. And that begins to compound over time. But there's other things that compound. Ads compound. If you have testimonial videos from some of your customers, and that's converting into customers, the more that converts, the more money you can spend on advertising. So that compounds as well. What you're going for is to take this attention and to focus it on one area that will compound. My recommendation, if you're selling anything physical at all, would be to put that attention into Amazon.com because over time, meaning 3, 6, 12 months, Amazon will compound at such a fast rate. Once you have people who are leaving positive reviews, you. You have video testimonials, and you can drive outside traffic from your audience to Amazon. The snowball builds really, really quickly. In my friend's case, he has a product that sells for about $50. So in order to get to $25,000 per month, he needs to make about 500 sales per month and that is about 13 or 14 sales per day. So if he's creating content and he's building relationships with five people a day and he's building an email list, it's fairly reasonable to think that there's going to be five to ten people a day who find that content, opt into his list and become a customer. As they create more reviews, as they post some of their results or their feedback about the product, that becomes more content and more proof that he can share, which then gets shown to the next batch of customers. Plus some of those customers are going to come back and buy again within 30 or 60 days. It's also reasonable to expect that there's going to be spillover to Amazon.com and some of that traffic is going to go over to Amazon.com and he's probably going to get another five to 10 customers a day just from running this process over on Amazon. Well, guess what's going to happen over 30 to 90 days. Amazon's going to start showing him for more keywords and his conversion rate is going to go up, his reviews are going to get better, he's going to build more email subscribers, he's going to get more proof. And if he keeps doing those habits regularly for the next 90 days, there's, I don't know, 100% chance that he'll at least get seven customers from his content and seven customers from Amazon and have $25,000 per month in regular business. And then all we need to do is get better at those habits and launch a couple more products over the next few months. And he has a hundred thousand dollar per month business. He can do this in two to three hours a day and so can you. And just to encourage you, let me tell you about some of the results that can happen when you build even that base of a foundation. We have a member inside our community named Ben. Ben had an email list of 150 people when he launched his business. Within about two months he was doing about a thousand dollars a day in sales. And we were so proud of him. And then he took all of that attention and he put it on something that would compound and for him that was advertising. And he got to $100,000 per month in about six months. We have a member named Miguel who did not have any audience at all. He spent 4:45 days running a process like I'm just sharing with you where he was building up an audience of people who had no idea that he existed before. And he launched his product and did $150,000 in sales in his first 30 days. One of my clients, Alina, launched her business four months ago and she just was building organic content like I've been sharing with you. Sending that traffic over to Amazon. She's doing like 50 sales a day right now. That's like 1500 bucks a day in sales. And I don't know what her margins are, but four months in to be halfway to the million. That's a half a million dollar a year business in four months. But it started with doing this basic organic work and building up a small audience. That compounded over a couple months having a launch, and now she's at half a million dollars a year. Four months in, four months in. And also me, I built a company doing a process like this. I invested $600 into my first physical products brand, a brand called Sheer Strength. I took that with my partner to $1 million a month. We sold the private equity a few years ago for $16 million. The company that I sold it to stopped running this playbook and they went bankrupt and I bought the company back for pennies on the dollar. And guess what process I'm doing to resurrect the company? The exact one that I just laid out with you. Setting goals that we know that we can work towards, practicing habits that we know are going to take us closer there in about two to three hours a day. Getting leads, selling things to those leads and focusing on areas that will compound. That's how we're resurrecting the company. And that's the reason why so many entrepreneurs who are in our community, who are clients, who have read my book, have built million dollar businesses. If you're new here and you need a place to start, you can download all my free resources and a free course for picking a product, getting it launched, and getting it off the ground over at capitalism.com playbook. The reason I share all of this publicly is because I, I invest in brands who have audiences, who have growing revenues, who have unique products. And I know if I can get them to a million dollars by building audiences and performing well on a platform like Amazon or TikTok, Shop or Shopify, then I can bring my capital, my resources and my relationships to the table to help them get to 10 million and we can have a ridiculous exit together. So that's why I teach this stuff so publicly and so freely so that you can use this build a business and maybe we'll partner together in the future. So if you help getting off the ground, go over to capitalism.com playbook or if you'd like to work with me or my team closer, you can look in the description of this video for more resources on how to get in touch with me. I'm Ryan Daniel Maryan with capitalism.com thank you for watching. I'm rooting for you and I'll see you next time. Take care.
