Successful people think big but act small, setting large goals while consistently doing small, unseen tasks that compound over time. Failing people do the opposite: they think small but act big, grandstanding and taking large risks instead of performing the daily work that builds success.
Chapters
I've noticed that my most successful students think big but act small. And the people that I see in our community who fail, they think small but they act big. So the people who are successful, they have a big vision for themselves. They have big goals but they do the small things. They're willing to do the small things that seem insignificant that nobody else sees that they don't get any credit for. And those things compound over time. But the people who fail are the ones who think small at big and it's an overcorrection. So what they do is they say things like I'm going to be a billionaire but that really is I think small of myself and so I need to act like I'm big in order to compensate for how I feel. So what do they do? They ignore the things that are in front of them. They are not willing to do the things that are small that compound over time and they take big risks.
