Entrepreneurs chase likes and views, but those don't build sustainable businesses. Focus instead on creating deep, transformational experiences for a small group of early customers who become long-term premium clients. Impact scales faster than attention.

A lot of people are overemphasizing the number of likes or views that they get, but it doesn't actually grow their business. But the people who stay with you for a long time are going to be long term customers that pay a premium because you already created an impact for them. So instead of optimizing for the front end ego based metrics that everyone else is optimizing for, I optimize for the depth of connection that you can have with a group of people that is scaling scale. Scale is not how many views, but how can you take the good work that created an impact for somebody else and do that with as many of those people as possible. And for most entrepreneurs, that should be really small at the beginning. You can only create some transformational experience for a small group of people at the beginning and then it's about doing that better and then for more people. But most people try to go for the top end of that first to get attention and then extract from that group of people. It's the opposite. You try to go deep with a group of people and then, then say, how do I get this out to more of those people? Because it's the impact that scales, not the attention.
