Short motivational talk by Ryan Daniel Moran (Capitalism.com) describing two entrepreneur types: those who enjoy current work without belief in future growth, and those who believe in future growth but resent present work. Moran argues success requires both enjoying day-to-day work and believing in a large future; when both are present, effort feels sustainable and leads inevitably to success.

This is what I look for in an entrepreneur that I know is going to win. Are they enjoying the process right now with a confidence that it's going to grow in the future? Most entrepreneurs have one of these two things, but not both of them. One will be enjoying what they're doing, but they don't really see it growing. They're just happy to have a little side thing. Another believes in the future, but they're resentful of the work that is required right now. So they're not actually doing what it will take to get there to the future. But if I can find the rare combination where somebody sees a really big future and they're really enjoying the day to day work, that's when I know they're going to win. In fact, I'm in this spot right now and it's like scary how confident I am that things are about to get crazy good because I'm enjoying what's in front of me right now and I believe in what is to come. Which means that the work that I'm putting in right now feels effortless and that means it's sustainable, which means I'm going to keep doing it, which means that it's going to result inevitably in that outcome that I believe is possible.
