Learn how to mask a video behind custom typography on Wix. Design text in graphic software, export it as SVG, upload to Wix, add a video mask element, swap in your SVG shape, and hide the play button.

Here's something really cool that you can add to your wix website. A typography based video mask. Let me show you how to create one. So first off, use graphic design software to export your typography as an SVG file and upload it to the WIX editor. Then drag any video mask onto your page. Pick a video from our library or use your own and change the mask shape to the SVG file you've created. Now all that's left to do is to hide the play button and voila, you're all done.
