A dad and daughter spend an afternoon painting pottery at Clay Laila studio. He cracks jokes while they glaze their pieces, they get into a creative flow together, and the video teases the finished results in a follow-up.

Today I took my dad out on a date.
Where are we going? I have no idea. We
walk into Clay Laila, and right away, it's pottery heaven. So many finished pieces hung up as inspiration. And there are rows upon rows of pottery dishes for us to choose from. Then we met our pottery guide. Hi, I'm Eliana. We are a paint your own pottery studio. My dad, of course, suggests that we should break the dish Greek style. Classic dad move. Good start. We get the rundown of the paint and glazes, then choose what colors we want to use for our piece. My dad does not waste a second. He's already sketching and getting praised.
Oh, so cute. I love.
I just decided what I'm gonna do,
and
my dad is almost done. How is it that you're almost done and I didn't get started?
Normal. No. This is what happened with you since I know you from day one.
After I finally decided what I'm gonna do, I joined my dad and we were in the zone. Before we knew it, we were done and we said goodbye to our pieces. And now we wait for the glaze magic. Stay tuned for part two to see how they turned out.
