How content creators How Ridiculous built an audience of 58M+ followers

How Ridiculous grew from backyard trick shots in 2009 to 58 million followers by staying consistent with their core values. They've bounced planes, boats, and cars, landed collaborations with Manchester City, and built a professional operation that turned viral stunts into a real business.

We've got vision, we've got passion, we've got determination. And if we set our sights on something, like, you better believe it's happening. I know I'm still sort of just like pinching myself that this is, like, about to happen. So How Ridiculous has got. We've got about 50 million followers if you count it all up. We're in the billions of views. Tens of billions. That's pretty good.
And we're a small team here at How Ridiculous. We're best known for making amazing basketball shots. But today we're going to mix it up a little bit.
So we began in 2009, very humble beginnings, in the backyard, hanging out, mucking around, making trick shots. From basically the very start, we always had this internal drive just to keep pushing and pushing to achieve something great. At the heart of it is just bringing things into existence that previously had never been seen.
This is the world's largest act.
We bounced. A plane and a boat and a car. It was wild. We always felt like our content was all about entertainment and being fun, but there was also this sort of professional business side. So one of the things that we knew was basically essential was getting our own website so people would actually see a proper official group who mean business and who can deliver. We now get unbelievable opportunities to do things like film balloon popping races with Manchester City.
Greatest collaboration ever. Take the best balloon poppers in the world, the best footballers, and then bang, we're away. Massive. Thank you to Wicks for setting this up. We honestly would never be able to do this without their help. Let's go. Where's our car? We don't have a car.
We've arrived at the studio and we must now transform it. If only it was that easy. It's getting real, everyone. This has been many, many weeks in the making.
Flipping intense Week's balloon pop championship, man. City versus Howard Ikulis.
I don't know all the things that we're gonna get to do in the next year or five years, but if we can do this as a job and do this sort of project, like anything's possible for potential creators out there. Do you know what's really fun? Making a website on wix.
