In this tutorial, Wix account manager Jenny walks through the process of adding a livestream event to a Wix website using the Desktop Editor. She starts by navigating to the desired page and dragging a Wix Video player onto the layout. She then opens the player settings to select a livestream channel or scheduled video, demonstrating how a countdown appears for upcoming events. Jenny explains the various customization options, including layout styles, cover image choices, title visibility, comment settings (enabling or disabling live viewer comments), and design tweaks such as fonts, colors, and button styles. Finally, she emphasizes saving and publishing the page so that visitors see the countdown and the livestream automatically starts when the event goes live. The tutorial focuses on the desktop editor, noting that mobile editor steps differ slightly.

You. Hi there, my name is Jenny and I'm an account Manager here at wix and today I'm going to show you how you can add a livestream event to your website through the Desktop editor. Please note we will be focusing on desktop today and the instructions for the mobile editor will would look just a little bit different. But from your WIX editor you're first going to want to navigate to the page where you would like your live stream event to live. So we're here on our Live Classes page and you'll want to come down to the space where you would like the video to go. So make sure you give yourself a little bit of room here. Then we'll come over here to the Add button and we'll come over to Video and Music WIX Video. Select the player and simply drag and drop over into your site here you'll be able to move it around. The next step is to indicate that we want the live stream event to appear here. So we'll click into this settings bubble. Here's where you can designate which channel or specific video you want to appear here. Since we're focusing on our livestream classes, I'll click this channel and we already have one scheduled for July 16th at 7am so for your customers it will show a countdown bar and it will show them how long until that live stream event starts. There's a few additional settings I'd like to point out. You can customize the layout to look however you would like. There are options for the player itself. You can show the channel cover or a featured video cover. You have options for which titles to show or what information you would like to be visible in the comments area. Here is where you can designate whether or not you would like your viewers to be able to leave comments. If you would like it to be interactive, you can toggle on this during live stream. That means that your viewers will be able to comment live while you are there and you can have sort of a back and forth answer their questions. Or if you'd prefer not to have that setting on, just simply toggle it off. You also have options for design to change the fonts, the colors, the titles, and the button design as well. Once everything is as you like it, as always make sure to save and publish and when your members come to this page they will see that countdown and once the live stream is kicked off, the page will automatically refresh and that live stream will start and you're ready to get going.
