The video tutorial walks Wix site editors through using the Content Manager to make a repeater display dynamic content from a collection. It explains what a repeater is, how to add one to a page, customize its design, create a dataset, link the repeater to a chosen collection, map each repeater component (text, images, etc.) to specific collection fields, and then preview, publish, and sync the sandbox content to the live site. The guide emphasizes that once connected, the repeater automatically reflects any additions, deletions, or edits made in the collection, and that design changes to a single container propagate across all containers. It also reminds users to sync after updates so visitors see the latest content.

In this video, you'll learn how to use the Content Manager to display repeating content on your site. This website uses a repeater to display a portfolio of interior designs. A repeater is a list of items that have the same design and layout, but different content, displayed in repeating segments we call containers. You'll find repeaters everywhere on the web, from a recipe collection to a list of news articles to a photo gallery. You can get more out of your repeater by making it dynamic. By connecting it to your content Manager, your repeater can automatically display your content as your collection grows and changes, saving you lots of manual effort and time. Ready to get started? From the editor, go to any area on your website where you want to add a repeater to display your collection. Go to the Add panel, then lists and grids, and drag the repeater you like right onto the page. Now you can customize your repeater's layout in design and remove anything you don't need. Once you've got the design you like, let's fill the repeater with content from your collection. If you don't have a collection yet, be sure to check out the link in the description below. Ok. Click on the Connect to Data icon, and then on the Create Dataset button to link your repeater to your collection. Just choose the collection you want to link, add a name for your data set, and click Create. You'll now have a menu listing all the components in each repeater container. Assign each component to the field in your collection that you want it to pull information from, like title, description, and location. For example, let's connect this text component here to the Name field in the collection. Another way to match up the repeater components with fields from your collection is by starting from inside the repeater itself. Click on the repeater component you want to edit. Click on the Connect to Data button and choose the field from your collection that you want to match up with this component. Great. Now that the repeater is linked to your collection of interior designs, each item in the collection will feed into its own container. Even though your content is now connected, you won't see anything change in the editor just yet. You'll only see this when you preview or publish the site. Let's do that by clicking Preview to see what your repeater looks like now that it's connected to a collection. Remember that this content can't be seen by anyone but you at this point. Since we're only in preview mode, to make sure your visitors will see your new content, you need to publish your site first. Let's go back to the editor and simply click the Publish button. Next, you'll need to copy your updated content from the sandbox where you're working now over to your live site. To do this, click on Content Manager, choose the content collection you're working with, and click Sync Sandbox to Live. Next, click Sync Items and continue syncing. No need to publish again after this step. Nicely done. Now that your repeater is live and ready to go, you can enjoy the benefits of using dynamic content like updating the repeater design whenever you want. By changing only one of its containers, like this one here, you'll see your change automatically reflected in all the other containers. You can also make changes to the content of your repeater at any time by adding, removing or updating the content in your collection. Don't forget to sync Sandbox to Live after you've made changes so your visitors can see the most updated version of your site. Now you're ready. This video is always here, so come back and watch it again whenever you need help.
