How to connect your services to packages and memberships | Wix Fit

John McCormick shows how to link a service like a $50 Pilates Reformer class to membership plans on Wix Fit. You can set it to offer only as part of a plan, then choose whether customers get limited classes or unlimited access depending on which plan they pick.

You. Hey, everyone. My name is John McCormick and I'm an account manager here at Wix. And today I'm going to show you how to connect your classes, courses, all of your services to a package or membership, also known as a pricing plan. I just want to make a note before we jump in and say that the workflow for this process is identical on the desktop as it is to the owner's app. The only difference is the initial buttons are in a, a little bit of a different spot in the owner's app. So if you're, if you can do this on desktop and follow this workflow, you can also use the same workflow to set this up and make these connections on the owner's app. We're going to do this today by creating a new service and we're going to show you how to connect up a membership or package through a new service. We're going to do a Pilates Reformer class today with multiple participants and we're going to do it as a class. So once you select those few things, you're going to get prompted to create your service. Like I said, we're calling it a Pilates Reformer class. If I scroll down a little bit, the other necessary piece is the price. We're going to use $50 today for the price. And if you continue to scroll down, you'll finally come across a memberships and packages or pricing plans area by clicking this blue add button. That is how you can connect your memberships and packages to this service. So as you can see, it's been listed all three of the memberships or packages that we have. We're going to connect the one month plan. So we're going to just click connect and that is it. You can see it's connected. You can also click this, it's now a dropdown and disconnect the plan if you'd like. We're going to connect the one month plan and the three month plan and that's, that's kind of what I wanted to show you here. What we're going to do next, I'm going to show you. You can kind of see it's, it's listed the plans that are connected. And then if you'd like, you can check this box to offer the service only as part of the plan. Just make note when you check this option, your clients won't be able to pay for the service per session. It will only be available as part of your membership or package. Not going to check that one today, but I did want to show it to you and we're going to save here next. And then I do just want to show you kind of from the pricing plan side how to connect a service to your existing membership or packages. Before I jump over there, you can see we made this Pilates Reformer class here and it's got the one month and three month plan listed as plans that are connected. And these others have no plan connected because there's not a membership or package connected to it. So next I'm going to show you how to do this from your membership or package area. Pricing plans is what it's called in the dashboard. So we did the 1 month and 3 months. So let's actually connect the 12 month plan here to make it a little different. It might take a few moments to load here, but what you'll see is connect and manage benefits. We're going to simply check the booking services box and now we have the ability to select the Pilates Reformer class from the dropdown. We can add more services if we'd like. And then finally, the last piece here is the type of access. There's really two types. Limited is what came up here. This is going to function more like a punch card where your customers can book 10 pilates reformer classes through this package or membership. And then if I switch it to unlimited, you'll see that box is removed. This is your more standard membership setup. Your customers can book an unlimited amount of Pilates Reformer classes as part of their 12 month membership. Hopefully this has been helpful in helping you to set up and connect your services to your memberships and packages.
