How to Manage Your Content in a Collection | CMS (previously Content Manager) by Wix Data

In this video, you'll learn how to update and manage your content in a collection. Now that you've set up a collection, you can easily make changes to its content and the way it's set up as your website grows. For example, you can change a collection's name by clicking on the Content Manager button in the left side panel. Click on the three Dots button and choose Edit Settings. Add your new name. Click Save, and any existing connections you've made with the old name will update automatically. You can adjust the order of your fields by clicking on the Manage Fields button, then holding and dragging the dots on the far right. Click on a field to edit its name, or choose from a variety of field types like text, image, number, boolean, or address. Don't forget to click Save if you make any changes. You can also reorder your fields by just dragging their headers. Go ahead and edit, update, or replace any of the content for any item by simply clicking on cells like you would do with a spreadsheet. Let's change this image here. We'll click on the image and then choose a new one to replace it. And that's not all. To save time and manual effort, you can also import and export entire sets of content to and from a collection. For example, let's say you have a set of real estate listings stored on your computer, or a spreadsheet of recipes. Just click the Import Items button to upload whole sets of content like these from a CSV file straight into your collection. You can also export existing collections by pressing the Export Collection button. Want to switch up the view? You can choose between Table List and Gallery View to see your content in a way that works best for you. And as always, don't forget to click Sync Sandbox to live when you're done making changes, then click Sync Items and continue syncing.
