How to Plug In and Connect Your Wix Point of Sale Register | Wix

Congratulations on your new WIX POS Register. In this video, we'll show you how to plug in and connect your hardware. First, open the COVID that is located under the main screen. Make sure to pull the cables from the hole at the bottom of the stand and through the plastic clip. This will help keep the cables organized. Then, plug your terminal into a power outlet. Since it doesn't operate on a battery, it must be plugged in at all times. Now that it's plugged in, the cash drawer and scanner must be connected directly to the terminal. Now that it's plugged in, let's connect the cash drawer and scann to the terminal. Your cash drawer can be locked manually with a key. If the drawer is locked, it won't be able to open automatically. Now let's set up your printer. If you want to connect it directly to the terminal, plug in a usb. If you choose to connect it wirelessly, go to the Help center and follow the step by step guide. Now that everything is connected, it's time to turn on the terminal. The power button is located at the back of the screen. Press the button for a few seconds until the screen turns on. Next, you'll be prompted to connect to your WI FI network. Your terminal must be connected to WI FI in order to operate. Once connected, you'll have to select your local time zone. Now you can log into your WIX account. When you log in for the first time, you must use the login credentials of the account admin or co owner. Once you log in, other members will also be able to log in and set up their passports. That's it. Now you're all set up and ready to use your WIX pos Register. Thank you for watching.
