Congratulations on your new WIX Retail point of sale. In this video, we'll show you how to plug in and connect your hardware. Plug your device into a power outlet. Since it doesn't operate on a battery, it must be plugged in at all times. The printer and scanner are connected directly to the terminal. Since the terminal is plugged into a power outlet, it is the source of power for the scanner and printer. Make sure the cash drawer is connected directly to the printer. If the printer is out of power or paper, your cash drawer won't work and you won't be able to open it. Your cash drawer can be locked manually with a key. If the drawer is locked, it won't be able to open automatically. Now that everything is connected, it's time to turn on the terminal. The power button is located on the bottom right side of the screen. Press the button for a few seconds until the screen turns on. If you can't find the button, it probably means your screen is flipped upside down. Once the terminal is turned on, you'll be prompted to connect to your WI FI network. Your terminal must be connected to WI FI in order to oper. Once connected, you'll have to select your local time zone. Now you can finally log into your WIX account. When you log in for the first time, you must use the login credentials of the account admin or co owner. Once you log in, other members will also be able to log in and set up their passcodes. That's it. Now you're all set up and ready to use your wix. Point of sale. Thank you for watching.
