In this video, you'll learn how to use the Content Manager to set up a single collection from scratch without using any code. To create a new collection, first make sure you have the Content Manager added by going to the Add panel. On the left, clicking on Content Manager, and then clicking Add to Site. To start your new collection from scratch, open the Content Manager, click Create New Collection. Then give your collection a name according to the type of content you'll want to store in it. In this example, we want to create a portfolio of interior designs. Add the name you want, then click Create Collection, and there you go. Here's your new collection, where you can make changes or updates to your content whenever you want. Right now, it has a Title field and one empty item row, so let's start customizing the collection. We'll start by renaming the Title field, click on its header, and then Properties. Give it the name you want, and click Save. We'll also set up some new fields to include more details about each item. To do this, click on the plus sign next to the Title field. Give your field a descriptive name. In our example, we'll create a field called Completion Date. The field key can be used in code. We'll leave it at its default setting. The field type defines the format for your content, so you can choose the one that's relevant for you. Then click Save and see the new field added to your collection. We'll repeat this process for as many fields as we need. Now that you've got your fields set up, go ahead and start adding items, which in our example are interior design projects. Click on cells to add the relevant content that fits under each field. Type in your text or numbers, upload images, and add any other content that suits your needs. Keep adding more items by clicking the plus sign. Now you're ready to set up your first collection from scratch. So what's next?
