Hi, we are Yuda and Maya de Vere and we are the creators of the popular webcomics One of those Days. We have over 8 million followers worldwide and we manage our business through Wix. It wasn't supposed to be a massive thing, it was personal blog. Personal, that's the keyword.
We even have a secret personal handshake. Wanna see?
Sure.
No, it's personal in secret. Come on.
We just listened to our audience. They asked, where can I purchase your art? We were like, you want to pay money for what we do? Like you want to pay actual money for what we do?
What do you mean?
Yeah, do you have, you know, prints, posters? And I said prints. We knew that WIX have an option of print on demand. So we immediately just upload the illustration to the website and after a few hours people purchase a print. It was fantastic. And then people asked for merchandise. So today we have prints, we have books, we have mugs, plush dolls, shower curtain. People asked if we have shower curtains
and immediately we were like yes, of course.
So we have a shower curtain. We do have special sales for special days like Black Friday, Cyber Monday.
Actually Maya have a calendar with all the famous dates.
Worldwide, our main revenue was from our online shop. WIX gave us the opportunity to transform one of those days into a business and also to make it grow. We never stop. As you can see, like four years almost. We are online and we're just getting bigger and bigger. Today we actually selling the possibility for an online lecture. Because of the COVID situation. We get thousands of messages from all over the world telling us how our work inspired them and helped them and make them happy.
We never thought that we would be known worldwide or be our own bosses.
