Daniela shows three ways to get customers to buy again: build a community with Wix Forum and Groups, send email campaigns to nurture contacts, and retarget past visitors with Google Ads. Hi, I'm Daniela, Ecommerce Content editor at wix. Now that you've already made your first few sales and have started chatting with your customers, let's talk about what you can do to keep customers coming back for more. In this lesson, you'll learn how to get repeat customers with an online community. Email Marketing and Retargeting Building a community around your brand or business is a really effective way to increase customer loyalty. Not only will customers feel a sense of belonging and shared identity with your brand, but a strong community can also foster genuine brand advocates. It can also serve as a friendly testing ground for new products and services, as well as helpful feedback. Merchants with a community generate three times more revenue than those without one. Wix Forum is a super effective way to easily create an online community on your site. To add the WIX Forum app, go to the editor. Click on the WIX App Market button, type WIX Forum in the search field and press Enter. Then click Add to Site next to the WIX Forum app. After you add WIX Forum, two main pages will be automatically added to your your main forum page where all forum posts appear, and a members page. On this page, forum members can view their purchase history, see See Other members of the community follow each other, read what other members have written, and even chat with one another. As your community grows, so will the conversation. Your members can log in with their email address or social login, giving them the freedom to speak with one another and the ability to like, comment and share posts. All of this social engagement will get your business community going. Another way to establish your online community is by creating groups. Create groups to keep in touch with your customers, connect them with each other, share updates and more. For example, you can alert customers to a members only promotion or even tell them when a popular product restocks. To create groups, you need to add the Groups app to your site. In the Editor, click on the Wix App Market button, type WIX Groups in the search field and press Enter. Click Add to Site. Now all you need to do is get the conversation started. Email marketing is another effective way to get repeat shoppers. An email campaign can turn your email subscribers into loyal and engaged customers. Email marketing is a great way to share regular newsletters, special offers and announcements so that contacts keep your business in mind. Did you know Email marketing can bring up to eight times more traffic to your business? And traffic that comes to your store from email marketing is seven times more likely to convert compared to other traffic sources. But before you can send an email campaign, you'll need to build your database. A great way to do this is by adding a subscriber form to your site and encouraging visitors to sign up to your newsletter or to receive special announcements. To add a subscriber form to your site, click the Add icon on the left side of the editor. Choose Contact and Forms. Scroll through the many available form templates and drag the one you want onto your site. Click Settings to customize your form any way you like. You can access and edit your contact list at any time you can. This is particularly helpful when you want to create mailing lists for specific contacts and promotions. To view and edit your contact list, go to your site's dashboard. Click Customer Management on the left, then click Contact List. Now that you have your contacts and know how to sort them, everything you need to send targeted and effective email marketing campaigns can be found in your email marketing dashboard. To access email marketing, go Go to Marketing and SEO in your dashboard. Click Email Marketing. From here you can quickly create your email marketing campaigns. Just pick a ready made template or design your own email from scratch. Retargeting customers with ads on Facebook and Google is a great way to get them to return to your store whether they made a purchase the first time or not. Most shoppers will want to visit your store at least once before actually completing a purchase. This means your retargeting efforts are important since they get your customers back to your store to buy the products they've been eyeing. Using the Google Ads Marketing Integration inside your dashboard, you can drive traffic back to your site with targeted remarketing ad campaigns. To get started, you'll need a Google Analytics account so Google can track your campaign results against your business goals. Then Google will use this information to retarget customers. For more on creating a Google Analytics account and connecting it to your wix store, check out the resources below. Once you're all set up with Google Analytics, you can integrate Google Ads marketing with your wix Store and manage everything from one dashboard. To set up retargeting with Google, go to your dashboard, click Marketing and SEO, then Marketing Integrations. Scroll to Google Ads and click Connect. Then follow the process to connect Google Ads to your site. Now that you know how to build a strong brand community and get repeat customers, check out the next lesson and learn how to grow your revenue with multi channel sales.
