Sutvirtinimo sakramento šventė. 2011 06 11
The video records the liturgical celebration of the Confirmation sacrament held on June 11, 2011, presided over by Cardinal Sigitas Tamkevičius. The ceremony follows the Catholic rite of Confirmation, featuring opening prayers, scriptural readings, the laying on of hands, anointing with chrism, and the renewal of baptismal promises. Throughout the service, the congregation participates with short, rhythmic chants and responses—repeating words such as "Jesus," "Christ," "Ram," "Sa," and other syllabic exclamations. The fragmented transcript reflects these communal vocalizations, creating a reverent and participatory atmosphere. The Cardinal’s homily and blessings are interspersed with these responses, underscoring the sacrament’s significance as a strengthening of faith and reception of the Holy Spirit.
