In this video, we'll show you how to edit and add text, then customize and add links. Text is an important part of your website. Add text to tell your story. You can customize it to look exactly the way you want. It's easy. How to edit and add Website comes with text. You can change it and add more. On the left here, click Add and Select Text. You have so many options and styles to choose from. At the top you have you'll see your theme text which has been hand picked to match your website. Use titles to welcome your visitors with large, bold or all caps text. Paragraphs are great for longer explanations or blocks of text, like an about section or mission statement. Drag it and drop it into place and move it around any way you like. Click on your text to see what you can do with it, like edit or animate. If you need any help, hit the question mark. To edit text, just double click on what you want to change. See how the words are highlighted. Now all you have to do is write your own. You can also copy and paste from somewhere else. Here's a if you have a lot of text, break it up into shorter paragraphs so it's easier to read. Next, see how to customize your text. Select your text and click Edit Text. Here you have themes, text that matches your website's look and feel. You can also choose the font you like, upload your own, or add a different language. Move the slider to quickly adjust the size of your font, or type in any number. It's best to make your font size 16 or above so it's easy to read. Feel free to bold, italicize, or underline. Change your text color. Use the color picker to choose from colors that matches your template's theme, or click Add Color. To add something one of a kind, choose how you want your text to be, left, centered, right, or justified, and click Spacing to adjust the space between letters, words, and even lines in a paragraph. Best of all, you can save your themes for future use. Next, here's how to add links to your text. You can add links by clicking Edit Text. Highlight the text you want to link and click Link. It's this icon. You can link your text to almost anything. Different pages on your website, your contact info, other websites, and more. To link to a different website, select web address and enter the full URL including www. Just decide whether this website opens in a new window or in the same window and click Done.
