In this video, you'll learn how to set up your WIX Payments account to accept payments online. WIX Payments lets you accept credit and debit cards online and in person. With our native payment provider, you can manage all your transactions, payouts and more. Right from your WIX Dashboard, we'll show you how to connect WIX Payments. Set up an account that suits your business type and get verified so you can receive payouts. Lets start with Connecting WIX Payments in your WIX Dashboard. Go to Settings, then click Accept Payments in the top right corner. Check that your business location is correct. If it's not, you can easily change it. If WIX Payments isn't available where you are, we'll automatically suggest payment options that are available in your location. To accept payments online and in person with WIX Payments, click Connect. Next, review our prohibited products and services. List anything that appears on it. Like tobacco isn't supported by WIX Payments. If you're selling something on the list, that's okay. You can still sell on wix as long as you comply with our terms. Just choose a different payment provider that supports your business type. Once you've reviewed the list, confirm that you're not selling anything prohibited and continue. Then choose how your customers can pay. Select credit or debit cards to accept online payments, and if you'd like to accept in person payments as well, select WIX pos. Keep in mind, to accept payments online, you need a Business Premium plan. If you don't already have one, now is the time to upgrade. To finish connecting WIX Payments, click Complete Setup. Next, set up your WIX Payments account. Before you start getting payouts, we need to verify your identity. Let's go over the form now. It's important to pick the correct business type here because once you've submitted this form, you won't be able to change it. Not sure what your business type is? Our tooltip can help. You've got two options. A business account if your business is officially registered, or an individual account for for a business that isn't. First, we'll show you how to set up your WIX Payments individual account type. Enter your information carefully. All the details need to match how they're written on your documents. Then upload your photo id. We need your ID to verify your identity. Make sure your ID is valid. Then add clear upright images of it in color or else your accounts can't be verified. Next, enter your address. Simply use your home address. If you don't have a separate business location, fill in your business name and select your industry Then describe what kind of products and services you're selling. To finish setting up, make sure the information you provided is accurate. Accept the terms and submit. Now we'll show you how to set up your WIX Payments business account. Type select the Business Account option, enter your legal business name, employer identification number and your regular business name. Submit a clear, high quality image of your employer identification number from the past year. Next, choose your business industry and describe what you're selling. Then fill in your address, enter your details and upload your id. To get a business account, we need to verify your identity. Submit a clear, up to date image of your ID and color for a smoother verification process. Add your info and specify your role in the business. Next, enter the company's bank details and upload your bank statement. Now submit your bank documents. Need more time to gather your docs? No problem. Simply save your form as a draft and come back to it later. Keep in mind the verification process cannot start until you submit this form. Double check that your information is correct, accept the terms and submit. Your setup is now complete and you're ready to accept payments. However, remember that you can only receive payouts to your bank account once your account is verified. This means that customers can make purchases, but you'll only receive the money in your bank account once your WIX Payments account is verified. Now let's look at the process of getting verified for payouts. At this point, you can accept card payments online. To make sure your checkout flow is running smoothly, buy something small from your website by clicking Review Requirements.
