In this short testimonial, the composer duo known as Banks and Wag discuss how Wix serves as an essential online hub for their professional work. They describe their early career, starting with unpaid commercial projects that eventually led to a breakthrough commission for the BBC on UK television. Emphasizing that a self‑employed composer’s website functions as a "shop window," they explain why they chose Wix: its ease of use, attractive templates, and seamless integration with Facebook, Twitter, and SoundCloud. Throughout the conversation they convey a positive, enthusiastic view of Wix as a tool that helps them present their artistry and connect with audiences.

The Wix website is essential to our work because it's basically an online hub. It does link all these other social media sites of ours. I'm Banks. I'm Wag. We're Banks and Wag and Wag and Banks. And we write music for a living, for radio, tv, commercials.
Well, we started off doing commercials, didn't we? We did for free. Yeah. So that's a good way of starting not getting paid. And being students. You'll be amazed how much work is out there you're up for not getting paid. And then we got a big break doing stuff for the BBC
on UK television.
It was really important for us to get a website that reflected the professionalism and the artistry we're trying to convey. The thing with being a self employed composer is that your website is essentially a shop window. And WIX just seemed just the easiest to use. And it
had good templates as well.
Yeah, because some of the other ones looked slightly too generic and too just
have a mojo.
WIX integrates our Facebook, Twitter, soundcloud. Why are
you pointing at me?
The drag and drop of WIX is the best thing. It makes it so easy. Pour things in, take things out. When we get a new job or an impressive job, you can change the photos on the front page and advertise the one you've just done. Or the most impressive ones, people Google our name. Banks and Wag. I'm Banks, I'm Wag. And they go online and when our website comes up and it looks good, that's half the battle.
