My name is Travis Preston, and I'm the director and president at Electric Puzzle Productions. We're a video production company in metro Atlanta. In school, I was always the kid that would make video projects for everything. So as I got older, I didn't want to give that up. And now that's what I do for a living. Whether it's a commercial or a film, what we seek to do is find the authentic narrative in whatever it is that we're working on. If a company comes to us and asks us for a commercial, we put the same amount of creative work into it as if we were doing a shorter feature film. Being in Atlanta especially, it's really saturated. There's a lot of people doing this, and it just continues to grow. So anything that we can do to separate ourselves and to show off our work is crucial. One way that we do that specifically is through our website. We decided to go with wix because it was the first platform that we found that made it easy for us to upload our video resume. Uploading a video to WIX is a matter of three steps. You drag and drop a box, copy and paste a URL, and then you wait for it to upload. In about two minutes, you have your video on your site live for people to view. It's one thing if you know what you're doing and you have a plan, but it's a whole nother thing to express that to the people around you in your community. Wix gave us that opportunity. No matter what, continue to try to learn more about what you do. There are always things you can learn, and I think if you realize that, then you'll continue to improve.
