In this short interview, members Megan, Victoria, and a third speaker from the NYU a cappella group "Cluster Maniacs" discuss why they chose Wix to rebuild their website and integrate their social media. They appreciated Wix’s free format after seeing another group’s site, and they linked Facebook and Twitter buttons on their own page. The group now hosts around 50 performance videos on the site. A professional improv group, Gadget, discovered them via the Wix contact form and booked a gig. The highlight of their recent activities was performing Christmas songs at the White House holiday open house, touring the building, and meeting the First Family’s dog, Beau. The conversation is informal and enthusiastic, emphasizing how Wix enabled greater visibility and opportunities for the group.

Hi,
I'm Megan. And I'm Victoria. And we are a part of
the
NYU Cluster Maniacs.
And we use wix to build our website. Last year, we were looking to really revamp all of our social media sites because it had been a while since they had been updated. And I had seen another acapella group, their website, and it was made off of wix. So we all talked about it and checked out their page and some other pages, and we really liked the format and we loved that it was free. And so we decided to go with wix for our own page.
All of our social media is sort of linked up together. If you go on our WIX website, there's a little button for Facebook, there's a little button for Twitter, and. And you can follow us and check out all of our tweets,
and we have maybe close to 50 videos of our different performances. So this professional improv group called Gadget found us via our WIX website and went to our contact section and sent us an email through that, and we were able to set up this gig, which was really exciting. In December, we performed at the White House for their holiday open house. We sang Christmas songs for all of the people that were coming through the open house. We sang for about two hours, and then we were able to take our own tour of the White House and actually meet Beau the dog.
Yeah, one girl got to pet him as he walked by. We're still really jealous of her.
