Art has been a passion my entire life. Ever since I was little, I've been drawing when I should have been studying or listening more intently. I was filling the margins with drawings and doodles. At my university I studied studio arts, which included a lot of drawing and painting. Post college, I got an interest in graphic design. More recently, as I've started pursuing my own business, I've tried to incorporate those graphic elements into my traditional art background. I work from home as a freelance artist and graphic designer and I do really enjoy that. I can move around, I can go out to a cafe. I just love the ability to take my business, my artwork wherever I go and work on my art from wherever I am. I found out about WIX through an online ad I was in the market for expanding my business. I wanted to share it with people more so than I had in the past. WIX made it very easy to make adjustments, customize things exactly the way I wanted them to be. I like to incorporate some of my personal handwriting on my website and WIX allowed me to create these PNG images with a transparent background so that I can place them wherever I want on my site over images over the background and still allow the transparency to show through while including my personalized touch. I would definitely recommend WIX to other artists. When I hand out my business cards, I'm proud to tell them, go see my website. It's beautiful.
