My name is Tara Youngblood and I own the Borrowed Flea. The Borrowed Flea is a collection of antique furniture, vintage accessories, and everything in between, available for rent for any special occasion. The business came about a few years ago when I decided that I just really wanted to kind of share all the pieces that I've curated with others so that they can create special events or use these pieces for whatever occasion they have. There's a lot of different parts in Houston to shop, and I make my rounds here at August Antiques in the Heights. Pretty much anything that you're looking for, they'll have a little bit of it. The Borrowed Flea and the inventory is visual, and I chose Wix because it gave me the ability to translate the look that I was going for with my brand, and it really helped me bring the pieces to life. My favorite feature about Wix is the product gallery and the ability to upload all of my images and customize them and frame them and move them around. It's instant. When I make time to update my site, I want to see it, know that it's right, and then move on. I'm very happy with wix because it's enabled me to translate the look and feel of my business to my audience, and it's made it really easy for me to keep clients and get new business.
