In this presentation, the speaker outlines the series of engineering and delivery optimizations Wix has implemented to dramatically improve website performance, claiming up to ten‑fold speed gains. Key initiatives include hosting all sites on a globally distributed CDN with automatic HTML and resource caching, meticulous layout‑shift mitigation through proper dimensions, CSS aspect ratios, and font preloading, and prioritization of critical assets such as images and forms with lazy loading for off‑screen elements.
