The speaker argues data center debates have become politicized like COVID discussions, and questions whether China is spreading misinformation to slow U.S. AI or simply pursuing its own development. He insists we need facts over political narratives, and that data centers themselves aren't the enemy.

Every now and then there's a story where we just absolutely, positively need to get to the truth. We saw this during that COVID outbreak where it's like, look, this is, this is a medical thing. What's the actual truth? Do the masks work? Does ivermectin work? You know, we need absolute truth, and instead we got politics. On this story, like, is it the policy of the CCP to disrupt American opinion on data centers, slow down our construction of AI, bypass us in AI, and then control the world by winning the race to RSI? Is that their plan? Or if you talk to Alvin Graylin, he's like, they don't even think vaguely that way. They're just trying to have a better life for themselves and improve their own progress. They could care less about trying to invade the US with false stories. Which is the true story? I don't actually know, but we absolutely don't, we don't need politics on this. We need to know what is actually going on. Well, what is actually going on is data centers are not the enemy. That's for sure.
