Hey, what's up guys? It's Matt here with CF Pro Tools and I wanted to just come to you guys for a minute today and talk to you guys a little bit about getting started with your business and what I would like to call mind trash. Things that get in the way, things that make your mind, like literally just stuff that paralyzes you and makes it so that you can't start your business and how you can get over that. So if you're watching this video, chances are you're considering maybe starting a business. Maybe you've already got one, Maybe you just had trouble getting it started. And one of the main things that is going to stop you from keeping it going is imposter syndrome. And that's what this video is going to be about. You guys are not alone. I promise you that. I've been there. I think most business owners and people who have some part of any business have probably been there prior to getting started. And I'm going to share with you some advice that I wish I could give to myself back in the day about, you know, getting a business started, getting off the fence, and getting past imposter syndrome for good. Alright, so let's jump right in. So first thing I want to do is I want you guys to define your why. So if you guys want to get over imposter syndrome, you guys want to get rid of the mine trash, that's what we're doing today. We're taking out the trash. You really need to define your why. The first step in starting a business online is to define your why. Why do you want to start a business? What problem are you trying to solve? Who are you trying to serve? Understanding your why will give you the motivation, the purpose that you need in order to get started. And not just get started, but it's also going to give you guys the motivation, the inspiration to just wake up every day and continue to do what needs to be done. If you're not doing that, then it's going to be really easy to fall out of that pattern. And whether it's you doing this or whether it's you working with the people, putting the people into place that you need to surround yourself with to get things done. We'll talk about that coming up here in just a second. So number two, focus on your strengths, all right? It's easy to get caught up in comparing yourself to other people, especially in the online world. Instead, focus on your strengths. Focus on what you can do, focus on what you have to offer. Okay? What unique skills and experiences do you bring to the table? There's some things that you're just probably never going to be super great at. And that's okay. You don't have to be okay. Find somebody else to bring into your circle. Find somebody else to be your Voltron arms. Okay? That's what Russell Brunson once told me while I was at a certification in Boise for the CFCP program. So figure out what unique skills and experiences you bring to the table. And whatever you do, don't try to be somebody else. Be yourself and let your strengths shine. Okay? Number three. Take action. Get off the fence. Do something every single day. Okay. Do what's most important. Okay. One of the biggest roadblocks to starting a business and keeping that business going is a fear of failure. Truth is, you can't succeed without taking action. Start small. Take one step at a time. Set achievable goals and celebrate your wins along the way. Make that happen. Get out there every single day. Do the. Do the 20% that's going to get you 80% of the results each and every day and make that your. Your daily goal. Okay? Number four. Embrace learning. Okay. Starting a business is a learning process. The whole thing from start to finish. You're definitely going to get a PhD in business just by going through the process and figuring out what works and what doesn't. Don't be afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Seek out resources and support to help you along your journey, to help you out along the way. Okay? Join online communities. Go to networking events. Seek out those resources and support to help you along the way. Join those communities. Connect with other entrepreneurs who are going to offer guidance and support. So always surround yourself with the proper people to keep you going in each scenario. Okay? All right. Number five. Believe in your self. Alright? I know it sounds a little bit cliche, but you have to use those. You have to get up every day and say those affirmations that are going to help you believe in yourself and what you're doing. Imposter syndrome can be a real struggle, especially when starting to something new. Okay. Remember you're capable and you're deserving of success. Believe in yourself and in your abilities. Visualize your success each and every day and focus on the positive outcomes. Okay? That's what's going to get you to where you're going. So there you have it. That's my advice for getting off the fence and starting a business online. While overcoming imposter syndrome. Remember to define your why follow. Focus on your strengths. Take action.
