CF Pro Tools Mailbag :: You Have Questions, We Have Answers

A short CF Pro Tools "mailbag" video in which Matt answers user questions about ClickFunnels and CF Pro Tools add-ons. Key topics covered: placing images above/beside two-step order bumps using the Magic Mover add-on and CSS titles; why a ClickFunnels page may not submit (invalid custom input field names — use short, lowercase, single-string names); resolving PayPal Plus issues by switching to PayPal version 2 (new accounts default to v3 and must request a reversion via ClickFunnels support); and associating images/products with multiple order bumps using CF-multi-bump CSS titles that include the bump product IDs.

Hey, what's up everybody? It's Matt with CF Pro Tools. Wanted to come to you for a Monday mailbag video. So let's take a quick look. I'm gonna set the timer for 10 minutes because let's face it, I talk a lot. And the last time I tried one of these, it went for over 30 minutes. I was like, you know, I probably need to, probably need to reel myself in a little bit. So let's get started. These are questions that we've gotten in our inbox and I think might be helpful to everybody. So let's give it a shot and see what happens. Let's hit that start button, maybe start. There goes. All right, question number one was, is there any way to take an image and move it above the order bump in a two step form as opposed to below the order form? Bonus points if it's not in the order bump itself but above it. So let's take a quick look at click Funnels and see exactly what's going on. So I've got a two step page up. This is the only one that I've pre configured for this particular question. But what the question is asking is can you take an image and move it like image bump. We have image bump or bump image as an add on where you can put a bump inside or put an image inside of the bump element like this. And normally for that what you would do is let's do this. So this is a two step order element itself. I'm going to click image. So you would take that image, make it something that looks more like, I don't know, I'll just use this for the time being. Let's say I wanted this to go inside of that order bump. I would just give it a CSS title, change of bump dash image, click update and that would be pulled into the bump image itself or the, the, the bump. Now what this particular question is asking is can we take this image that we've created and move it above there somehow? So could it be something that we have so that it'd be above the bump element? And the question is, the answer is yes, you can do that. You're going to use another add on called, it's called Magic Mover. And what you're going to do is create a whole new section. For the sake of time, we're not going to go fully into this, but you're going to create a whole new section. You're going to take that bump image, you're going to stick it in there. Hope I didn't lose it. I got to create a section for a row and then take the image, put it in there, and then you can name that whatever you want. But you're going to go through the bump through the Magic Mover in instructions. So go into CF Pro Tools and then look for Magic Mover by going to Add Ons. I can go to my Add Ons and then we can say create new and then search by keyword. Magic Mover. Go through the Magic Mover instructions. That'll show you exactly how to set that up. So what that will do is allow you to move it anywhere. Whatever is in this section, which will have a special name will whatever's in here, you can take this image and move it wherever you want. You can move it after the shipping address if you really want, if you get detailed enough. Or you can put it below, put it before, you can put it around, you know, after or before the credit card number, you can put it anywhere in here. Because you cannot edit those type of features with the two step order element. So you can probably see already why my last version of this went for over 20 minutes. 20 went for over 30 minutes. So this is take two, by the way. So few minutes left. Let's see. Page will not submit. This is question number two. My page will not submit. Everything is set up correctly. It always is. So what exactly was the issue? I. So this particular situation, the problem was that they had a. So I'm just going to use this as an example, but this particular situation, they had an input field. They had a custom input field like this on their page. And it was set to, I don't know, we'll say phone number or something. Right? So whatever it was, you're. You always want to say. Actually, I take that back. It was a custom type. So whenever you set a custom type, you could set. It might be, what sense do you want? You know what, since you know, if you're selling something with variations, what do you want your t. Your T shirt to say? Whatever. But you want to collect that information in a custom type field that gets saved on the backside of clickfunnels. So the custom type is going to be. It's going to need to include the page wouldn't submit. So and that's because they basically put their question in here. Like, what do you want to say here with a question mark and all that stuff. So the custom type field, it doesn't say this in here, but it can't be big letters, small letters with spaces and special characters and all that stuff, just keep this simple, keep it short and punchy. Lowercase letters and say what underscore is acceptable since no, no question marks, nothing else. Make sure that it's one string. Don't get carried away with multiple numbers and all that. Big letters, capital letters, all that. Just say what sense or what, what info, whatever it is that they're looking for, you can name it so you can easily identify it on the back side. But don't get too carried away with it with questions and spaces. I think spaces was probably the big issue in that one. So just make sure that it's short, punchy, and gets the. Get. Gets the point across quickly and you can move on. So once you set that correctly and you've got everything else set correctly, and then you go to your page mesh and it should work fine. Okay, so hopefully that helps. Let's go to another question. Let's go back to our timer because we're at 4 minutes and 39 seconds, 37. Why is that going so fast? All right, question. All right. I am trying to integrate PayPal to my CF account and the. This issue is happening. The video makes it clear. There was a video with this one, we're not going to go through it, but the video clearly showed that there was a PayPal. When they went to the page, they set everything up correctly. They went to PayPal. And let me give you some, some imagery, some slight context with this. Let me go back, leave the page. Gotta find one where hopefully I'm using PayPal. Oh, no, I gotta go find something quick. Funnels. PayPal Plus. Really? PayPal? Seriously? Well, this is just not doing well. All right, so should have gone to the new. Actually, this one will be fine. Let me go to this. So what would happen? They set everything up correctly and what happens besides the fact that it doesn't look like a PayPal? I do. What, what happens is even with credit card selected, they would come down here and there would be like multiple. There would be a regular submission button, but there would also be the PayPal button and it would show up like that. So the way that this is supposed to work is that you click on PayPal and then click on the button and then it comes up with the PayPal buttons. But it already had these PayPal buttons already on the page. So what the issue was was that they were using PayPal version 3. So the instructions are in the tutorials, in the written portion of the tutorials that you do need to be using PayPal version 2. That's a 2, 2 digits there. Make sure that you are using the correct version. If you have version three, all new accounts are set to use PayPal version three. So if you're using PayPal version three on a new ClickFunnels account and you need to use PayPal plus, then you need to hit up Click Funnel support. Yay. Click Funnel support. What's up, guys? And you need to request a reversion to PayPal version 2. They will take care of your request, they will help you out, they will always be there for you, and they will take care of you in a timely manner. Once they've reverted you, your PayPal will work like this. So hopefully that helped. Let's go back to here. We got two minutes on the clock. We're doing all right today. All right, so here's a question. Hey, team. Hopefully I can answer this in a timely manner. I've just installed the multiple bump add on, which is great. Although I'm having trouble getting the bump images to be associated with each of their bumps. All right, let's see what I've got with this one. Hopefully I can do this one fast. Multiple bump, bump bump quantity and bump quantity content. This should be fun. Bump quantity to bumps. Let's try this one. So there's a little bit of a way if you have multiple bumps set up. Of course, that wouldn't be this one, but I'll use this as a test for now. Normally, if you have multiple bumps that I always make sure to go to the tutorial instructions. I'm just short on time. So. So you're gonna have order bumps. Let's say you have multiple order bumps like this. The way that you set the actual the product, you're gonna have product set up in your product tab. You're gonna have to use the CSS titles to associate them correctly. So you're gonna go in and change the CSS title to CF dash, multi dash, bump dash, bunch of X's, not the X's, but these are digits that are assigned. These are your product IDs for the particular bump product that you want to be associated with that bump. So make sure that you've gone in and assigned the correct product IDs there and that you go into your product tab and get those once you have these set up and that they are unique. CF dash, bump, CF multi bump, dash, whatever those numbers are, they're going to be different. You're going to click update. Now, those bumps, as long as they are associated correctly, they will be. When you click on these, they will add the correct bumps to your to your actual product. Product order total here. I think we're, I think our time is up guys. Looks like we are okay.
