CONUS Shipping Add-On :: CF Pro Tools :: Demo

Hey there in this video I want to do a quick demonstration of the Conus shipping add on and what it does and so on this one I've got an order form set up here and I've got a couple of products and I've got this. And in my offer it's only available to people inside the United States but it cost a little bit more to ship to Hawaii and to Alaska and so and let's just say Florida. So it cost a little bit more to ship to those areas than it does the rest of the states. And so I want to charge a little extra shipping for that. Especially for that Alaska and Hawaii. A lot of times that shipping cost is going to cost extra because it has to go overseas. It'd be very similar to shipping internationally. But because it's still available only inside the United States and this might happen if you're selling pharmaceuticals or you know, new nutritional supplements, things like that, you might only be able to sell them inside of the United States. You might not have clearance to sell it out. So you want to sell inside the United States but you want to collect a shipping charge that's appropriate for where you're shipping it to. So we've got it limited down our order form. We've got our USA only shipping enabled so that we know that somebody can only place an order from the United States. And then we've got our state province selector added so that we know that somebody is selecting a state based on a drop down menu. So we know the state's being entered correctly. So we got those couple things added. But how do we actually make it so that we can charge a different amount for different states? That's what the Conus shipping add on does. It allows us to charge a different rate for what we consider continental United States versus outside the continental United States. So in this case we've got Conus Shipping is just the name of the product that I've got for 495 that because it's going to Illinois. But if we wanted to send it to Alaska we can set that up so that now we're charging $7.95 for that shipping. It cost us a few extra dollars. We want to go ahead and add that on and pass it on to the customer. So Okono shipping is now added and that' 795. And if we wanted to say okay as Arizona then okay, it's back to 495. And let's say we're shipping to Florida. Well I just so happen to say Florida cost me more and I want to go ahead and ship it to Florida. Oh, actually you know what, I didn't configure Florida. So it's so we've got Alaska, I think and Hawaii is configured there. So we've got that one set up. Those two set up as outside of the continental United States. But you can actually configure inside of the add on. You can configure which states are set up as your CONUS and oconus. In fact, let me just refresh this because I think I did add Florida. So let's just double check and if we now check Florida. Yes, there we go. So now we are going correct. I just needed to refresh the page because I didn't have the latest configuration where I said, you know what, Florida is more expensive. So we've got Florida and Hawaii and Alaska are what we've configured to be our more expensive shipping options. So we add a little bit extra shipping and we have a different shipping product that we add for that. So that is the Conus shipping add on and that's what it does and I hope you like it.
