Forced Product Add-on :: CF Pro Tools :: Demo

A short demo of the "Force Products" add-on for ClickFunnels (CF Pro Tools) that forces an extra product onto every order regardless of the purchaser's selections. Primary use cases: implement paid trials with Stripe (a one-time setup/paid-trial charge followed by a different recurring subscription amount) and add flat-rate charges (e.g., shipping). Example shown: charge $7 up front for a 7-day paid trial, then convert to a $37/month subscription starting on day eight.

Hey there. In this video I want to show you a quick demonstration of the Force products add on and walk through a little bit of what it does and what you might use it for. So the best purpose for this Force Products add on is to actually add a Force product onto your order form for every purchase. It doesn't matter what they purchase. You want to force a product onto it. Some people might use this for adding a one time flat rate shipping charge that everybody gets charged regardless of where they're buying from. Another really good use and really the purpose that I build it for initially was to do a paid trial with Stripe. Stripe doesn't support paid trials to subscriptions. So they support free subscriptions and they support one time charges but they don't support a one time charge and then a different subscription amount later down the road. So if you wanted to say do something like this where you've got a membership that's $37 a month, but you wanted to allow somebody to go in for you know, with seven days and charge them dollar that first seven days and then $37 a month afterwards. You couldn't do that. That just doesn't work with Stripe. You have to either charge them the same amount every month starting from day one in an immediate charge or give them a 30 day free trial and then charge them something starting on the end of 30 days or 7 days or whatever. You can set the amount of time that you want to give them but you can charge them nothing and then start charging them at some point in the future. Or you can charge them the same thing starting from day one and then each month or year or week after. That's what the Force product add ons does. It allows you to do what's called a paid trial. So you can pay a different amount up front and then you can do a monthly or weekly or whatever charge for your subscription afterwards. So that's what we've got going here. We've got to pick one product that's a subscription and then we charge a setup fee. We just call it setup. Could be paid trial, could be whatever you want to call it, but that's a one time. So we've got both added on here and you'll notice that our due today, this is all coming from our order summary add on but the actual setup of the products is done with the Force products add on. But we've got set up here is that we've got a free trial and then it goes converts to a $37 a month. So we've got it free for seven days. So we've got a seven day free trial product and then we forced on automatically. It's not listed here. We don't see this additional second product anywhere on here. There's no bump or anything like that. We in fact you could actually have a bump and still have this work. You could use this, you could use a bump in addition to this. And that's something clickfunnels won't allow for is normally they would say, well you can use your bump as the setup fee and just require that somebody check the bump with some custom code. So we're just allowing you to do that without even have to take up your bump. You could still bump product on here, but we're forcing this test membership set up on every purchase. Every order is going to get the $7. And so if they they've got this product installed and then they've automatically going to get the $7 product installed. And then today all we're collecting is the $7 because it's a free trial for seven days. So we're getting at $7 for the first seven days and then it'll go to $37 a month after that. So on day eight they'll get charged the $37 and then they'll get charged $37 every month after that. So that's what Force Products does. It lets you do things like set up free or I'm sorry, paid trials. It also lets you do things like hey, I just want to charge a flat rate for every order that comes in, regardless of what else they pick. I want to charge them a flat rate shipping charge of 795, 495, 995, whatever you want. So that's what Force Products add on does. And I hope you like it and I hope you put it to good use.
